RC5480W3 Hotpoint Range - Instructions

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Removed the old piece and connected the wires to the new piece. I'm a woman and this took me less that 15 minutes to complete. Easy as pie. On top of that, I received my order within 3 days! Made sure oven was turned off. I used nut driver to remove nuts holding old element to back of oven. gently pulled element out of wall, taking care not to yank because of wires attached to back of element. Made sure oven was off again and then used nut driver to carefully remove wire leads from receptors on element. removed old element from oven and got the new element. carefully used nut driver to attach wire leads to new element. When snugging the bolts to leads, used pliers to keep leads on the element from bending. carefully replaced wires and rear of element into the space behind oven, and used nut driver to attach the back of element to the back of oven. shut oven and turned on to make sure it worked. it did. I was very pleased with my experience with part select dot com, and will be buying another element soon to replace the one in my other oven! Thank you

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires...I copy and pasted this from their example - it really is that easy - this is a simple repair.

Removed two screws and take Element out and put new one in.It is very easy to do.

Then I removed the old element from the oven and replaced it with the new element. Then I connected the two wires to the new element and pushed the element into place. Then I replaced the two screws that held the element in place. I then tested the oven and it worked wonderfully.

This was so easy to do. First I took the two screws out of the holding plate. Then the element comes out and I took the two screws attaching the wires to each end of the element out. To replace it just reverse the above and turn it on let it heat for about 10 mins to burn off any residue and you are ready to start baking again. Although not really necessary it is reccommended to unplug or turn of the breaker before you start working on the problem.

First, we turned off power to the range. We removed the screws holding the element to the back wall of the oven and pulled out the element a few inches. We disconnected the 2 wires from the old element, and attached the new element with the 2 provided screws. We pushed the element back into the wall and secured it with the screws. Turned the power back on, turned the stove back on and, voila, the frozen pizza was well on its way to becoming dinner!

At 76 I no longer do my repairs so I asked my daughter's friend to do it for me.

First shut off power to the range in the electrical
breaker box (its the 220 breaker) as marked.
Remove the oven door ( open part way and lift up) the
door will come off.
Remove the 2 screws that the element is attached to the
back of the oven wall. Pull element out part way and
disconnect the 2 wires. Take out element.
The new element had different connections so I cut off
the clips stripped the wires and attached to the element
connection . The element had connections that this was
possible. Push wires back into oven wall and install the
new element with the 2 screws that were removed. You
could also put on clips to the 2 wires that attach to the
element if so desired. (Eye hole clips.)

Just like your example said/turn the power off to the oven/remove the screws that hold the element in place and then I pulled th element out a little ways and disconnected the wires/reconnecting took a little longer only because it was hard to see/but I connected the two wires and put the screws back in and it worked. Saved me a lot of money/my husband wanted to get a new double oven

remove screws attaching burner plate to back of oven, pull out element, undo wiring to old burner by unscrewing 2 screws, remove old burner, reverse process to put new burner in

First I turned off the circuit breaker leading to the oven. Then I removed the two screws that held the old element in place. I pulled out the element and disconnected the wires. I reconnected the wires to the new element and pushed it back in place. I then secured it with the two screws. I turned the circuit breaker back on and turned on the oven. Works just great!!!

Removed two socket head screws form inside oven rear wall. Pulled element out and disconnected two screws attaching wiring. Replaced with new.

I removed the 2 screws and the 2 wires from the broken heating element. I removed the broken oven heating element. Then I attached the 2 wires to the new heating element and put the 2 screws in to attach the new heating element into the oven. The new oven heating element worked just fine and I was done.
