RB632G2R2 Hotpoint Range - Instructions

TURN OFF CIRCUIT BREAKER before doing anything even if oven is not turned on! If I hadn't checked voltage with tester before starting I would have made a shocking discovery.
1) unscrewed shield cover to get get at the element screws.
2) unscrewed element screws and removed old element - pulling connecting wires out about 3 inches
3)attached new element to connecting wires (2 screws)
4) pushed new element into place and reattached element connector plate to wall of oven
5) reattached shield cover to wall of oven

First observed the situation to determine if I should try and repair. I decided I could and should. Got the element and proceeded. I first turned the power off at the circuit breaker to cut the electrical power to the stove then I removed the two screws that holds the unit in place and then pulled unit out to where I could see the wire connection; removed the two screws on the wire connection and replaced the old element with the new element. reinserted the unit back into position and replaced the two screws that holds the unit in the stove. Turned power back on and tested the oven for any problems. Stove is working great.

Removed 4 screw nuts and replaced with new baking element using same 4 screw nuts. Real easy job.

First I turned the power off to the oven/stove at the breaker box in the basement. Then I took the back plate off. Then I removed the two screws holding the wires onto the damaged element. Then I removed the two screws holding the element to the inside rear of the oven. Then I pulled the old element out and replaced it with the new element. I replaced the two screws that hold the element to the inside of the oven. Then I replaced the wires on the element where it protruded at the back of the oven. I put the back plate back on, slide the oven back in place and turned the power back on at the breaker and everything worked.

Unplugged the range. Opened the range top, unscrewed the old block and cut the wires back. New mount did not match the range top. Removed the old mount from the old terminal block and removed the new mount from the new terminal block and inserted the new block in the old mount. Spliced the wires with the provided wire nuts, protected the splice with the provided heat shrink tubing and installed the burner in the new terminal block. Reinstalled the power cord and tested the burner.

Unplugged stove, removed front door, carefully removed two screws holding the cover plate of the element. Gently pulled the element out about 3-4 inches removed the two screw attaching the electrical wires to the element , making sure the wires did not pull back into the stove. Removed old element, attached new element to the electrical wires with the new screws received with the new element. Carefully pushed the wires and element back into place making sure the insulation was also in place. Re-attached the cover plate with the two screws I had removed. Plugged the stove back in and tested the element. Replaced the front door .... job complete!

Just like your example said/turn the power off to the oven/remove the screws that hold the element in place and then I pulled th element out a little ways and disconnected the wires/reconnecting took a little longer only because it was hard to see/but I connected the two wires and put the screws back in and it worked. Saved me a lot of money/my husband wanted to get a new double oven

The element was 25 years old and I was concerned about changing it. But is was so easy. I turned off power and removed 2 screws and then unscrewed the wiring from the old element. I had the new one installed in minutes. I was so glad to have my oven working again. Who needs a man.

The part was delivered in 24 hours with regular
shipping and was simple to replace. Uncrewed
it, disconnected wires from the old one and connected
the new one. Cost a little more than $30 including shipping and the oven works great!

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Removed the old piece and connected the wires to the new piece. I'm a woman and this took me less that 15 minutes to complete. Easy as pie. On top of that, I received my order within 3 days! This was extremely easy to replace. When I told my mom I would replace it for her, she thought I was crazy. When she saw how easy it was, she finally understood. I had to remove the two screws holding the element in place. I pulled it out about 3 inches and unscrewed one screw for one wire. I didn't want to lose the wire, so I immediately connected the wire to the new element. I disconnected the second wire and attached it to the new bake element. Then attached the two screws putting the plate back up, securing the element. So easy! Just unscrewing and replacing 4 screws and I was done!! Took less than 10 minutes. I didn't have any real tools available, so I used a small adjustable wrench and it worked fine. The best part was it was so easy we were able to have a working oven in time for Thanksgiving!

Pulled out the bottom drawer of the stove and discovered the plug. So the plug was pulled from the wall socket.

Before this I had sprayed the screws with WD-40 and let it sit for 2 days.

Screws came out easily. Pulled out the old element and removed screws. Screwed on new element on both sides. Put in place and put old screws back.

Plugged stove back in. Turned on stove. Element came right on.

super easy - unpluged stove - unscrewed old element w/nutdriver from back of stove. unwired element - discarded. wired new element (2 wires). secured new element to back of stove. pluged stove back in. works great. Ordered part on Sunday, recieved it on Tuesday- VERY NICE SERVICE
