No heat in vintage JennAir oven
The oven on the 40 year old JennAir range stopped heating. It took more time to locate the model number D120 and conduct part/price search than the time it took to install the correct oven bake element from PartSelect! We read all the comments posted by others. We did not remove oven door. The old element had only 2 screws instead of the 3 reported by many. We followed the sequence--Power off at box; unscrew old element; pull out about 3 inches; disconnect wiring; used telescoping mirror to assist; connect wiring to new element; position new element; install 2 new screws; turn on power; turn on oven -- SUCCESS -- heating better than before. Thank you PartSelect.

Rear burner always high, ignored temperature setting.
Turned off breaker for range. Removed 4 phillips screws on control panel, tipped it forward and rested it on top of partially open oven door. Removed knob and nut on old switch. Moved wires, one at a time from old to new switch. Put new switch in place, tightened nut and pushed on knob. Put control panel back in place and installed 4 screws... piece of cake.

super old Jenn-Air range needed an element
Pulled out the old one-couldn't find it ANYWHERE that was a comparable match except for partselect. shut off breaker to oven-put in the new one-hard to reach in due to limited space and hard to see due to sticking your head in an oven.used a mirror/flashlight to see behind element to unscrew and screw it back in.Other than space restriction and light-pretty easy. Works great! Thanks for HAVING the part!! :)

Elec. stove-top knobs (imprinted with HI to LO numbers 1 to 10)worn to non-readable.
Knobs sent fit the shafts, but due to molded internal stop wouldn't seat. Had to drill out the stop, and also file down the shafts a bit for knobs to seat acceptably closer to stove-top.

Could Not Use One Burner
Turned power to stove off. Removed two screws from cover - lifted cover up and pulled switch out and disconnected wires. Put new switch in and connected wires. Made sure that it was in correct position by placing knob on to make sure off position was correct - then placed plate in position and closed - put two screws back on plate and put new knob on. Turned power back on and turned knob and burner back in operation

lost one of the knobs
Ordering and installing was easy. The hardest part was getting the exact match to 20 yr. old appliance knobs. First one I ordered had wrong shaft hole, but it matched perfectly in design. Decided to reorder and just replace all four with matching new-style knobs and the correct shaft hole. Yeah. Looks great and REALLY easy to install.

knobs were getting hard to read.
Pulled old knobs off, pressed new ones on. Probably well under a minute for 6 knobs. Anyone with the IQ of a horseradish could have done it. But what was really great was the help and personality of the agent at the other end of the phone. Shipping was as promised, and the entire experience was delightful!
