Slide out burner elements. Remove old burner bowls. Insert new burner bowls and reinstall burner elements.

Burner bowls had been used and abused for year gone by in this rental.

Total Burn Out Of Original Broiler Element
Remove lower drawer and contents. Unplug unit. Tilt range on its back for easy access. Tie open oven door to forward legs with sturdy rope. Use small socket to remove 2 back screws and 2 forward element hanger screws. Detach broiler element connections from wire clips(2). Insert new element, attach 2 new connections to clips first. Install back socket screws. Install front socket screws for element hanger. Slide in oven shelves. Release oven door rope. Lift range to normal position. Replace lower drawer. Plug 220 in. Test oven element then broiler.

mouse urinine and feces saturated oven insulation
After not using our oven all summer a mouse had been hiding out in the oven insulation and apparenting was starting to make a home. We caught the mouse, but when we turned on the oven recently we noticed a horrific smell and immediately turned it off. It was evident that the smell was not burnt food. We jumped on the internet to see where and how to access the insulation in our oven and found Parts Select. That is when we saw that this is actually a common problem when an oven is not used for a prolonged period. Ordered the new insulation part for our oven and paid extra to have it delivered more quickly. Pulled out the oven from the wall and unplugged it. Took off the top of oven and removed old insulation. Yuck, that was disgusting. Cleaned the inside surface with disinfectant before putting in the new insulation. Took about 20 minutes from beginning to finish.

broken light socket
The only tool needed was a nutdriver to remove the lamp socket. I needed my head mounted light to see what I was doing, and everything went smoothly from there. Simple job.

Element was burned out
Disconnected the plug from the receptacle; removed the 2 screws holding the element in place at the rear of the oven; removed the support bracket at the front (also 2 screws); removed the panel on the back of the range; pulled the wire clips off the element (had to replace one of them); slid the new element in place; reconnected the wires and fastened the element in place; reattached the support bracket and rear panel ... With the assistance of my wife (extra hands) this was an easy job!

The burner bowls were encrusted with grease and spills.
I easily took out the old ones and put in the new ones sent by Part Select. As promised they fit perfectly. Now when my wife cooks there is no more smoke and it does not set off the smoke detector.

Drawer glider broke about a year ago.
My wife could open and close the drawer without too much difficulty, but occasionally, it would not close properly and she would have to empty the contents do could alaign it properly to close. The last time she was talking about buying a whole new drawer. I asked her what the part looked like, as I never to fight with it. I went online and found the part for $1.16 plus shipping at $8 plus. It was well worth the time and effort, and I now have a happy wife. Paul Parker

Trim part on bottom of door was rusty

Oven slow to heat up
Removed oven door. Removed 2 screws from heat sensor on rear upper wall of oven. Pulled unit out to access rear of unit. Removed six screws on shield on back of unit. Dis connected heat sensor wire and pulled old sensor through from inside of oven. Feed wire of new sensor through from inside and plug in. Everything in reverse. I also had the gas(propane) company come out and check the pressure coming out of the "low pres." regulator. It was low, they changed the regulator.

Replacment of burner control switches
I watched your video on the subject and followed it exactly. It explained everything I needed to know. The hardest part was CLEANING under the stove once I pulled it out from the wall!

piece out of the oven gasket. Old and brittle.
Remover the old gasket and replaced it with the new. The small prongs I removed with pliers. Need to make sure that the new gasket isn't twisted when you put it on.
