Terminal block connectors worn out wasn’t making a good connection with the stove top burner
Cut 4 inch’s off the new terminal block wires then using my wire strippers stripped 1/2 inch off the ends , the old terminal block wires I stripped 1/2 inch at the ends using a wire nuts on both wires and electrical tape connected the terminal block to the stove plugged the new burner in and the burner worked 100%.

Neither set of cooking/broiling coils worked
This cooking element has four electrical connections to the stove.
YouTube videos show connecting the coils from inside the oven.
That does not work.
One of the electrical connection is made too short to pull through the back of the stove; as shown in the videos.
Be SURE to Trip the circuit breaker to the stove before starting..
The "easy" way is to pull the stove from the wall and open up the back panels. Then disconnect all 4 electrical connectors from the bad element. Unbolt and disconnect the old element from the stove.
Install and bolt on the new elements. Attach the electrical connectors in the back. Reset the circuit breaker and test the coils to see they light up. If OK, trip the circuit breaker and reinstall the back panels.
Push the stove back to wall and energize the circuit breaker.

bottom trim had rusted out from water build-up
disassembled bottom trim on oven door.cleaned area of excess rust and installed trim piece.

the drip bowls were a mess- rusty and beyond cleaning
I removed the old drip pans, cleaned the range top, washed and installed the new drip pans and put the old pans, box and packing materials in the trash. In only 12 minutes my range top looked like new and the mess was picked up. Now, if I could just get the rest of the kitchen looking that good that fast!

Needed new burner bowls
No repairs, really-just replacement, but I have been looking for the burners for three and one half years, and PartSelect had exactly what I needed for this old stove!

The original drip pans had rusted and needed replacement.
We tried to find the replacement pans at the local hardware store and were disappointed in that although they were cheaper, they were not deep enough to handle the heating elements. We were delighted to find that the parts from PartSelect.Com were genuine GE parts... installed in minutes and were delivered VERY quickly!

lens snapped off on the inside-plug was left loose
popped out the remainder of old lens, then pushed in new ones and slipped on plugs.

the burner trays just needed replaced for an 85 year old senior citizen
Removed burner trays, pulled out heater unit, cleaned up inside of area around all four burners, slipped the burner trays back in and pushed the heater unit back into place.

drip ban needed replacing

The light inside the oven had burned out
0. As a safety precaution, unplug the range or hit the relevant fuse breaker before you start. You might also want to grab a flashlight. Definitely do not try to do this while the oven is hot.
1. Pinch the wire over the light bulb cap to remove it. This is inside the oven at the back.
2. Pop off the hemispherical glass cap.
3. Unscrew the old light bulb, and screw the new light bulb in its place.
4. Put the cap back.
5. Secure the cap by putting the wire back in its slots on the cap.
No tools needed, the cap is just held in place with pressure from the wire.

Burned/scorched corroded drip bowl
No brainer. No tools. Remove burner, lift out old drip bowl, drop in new one, plug in burner, voila! Done. 10 seconds.

Oven would not heat up
I removed the rear lower cover. Disconnected the terminals from the heating element. Removed 2 screws from the heating element from inside the oven. Removed the heating element. Reinstalled everything in reverse order.

The drawer gliders broke when someone pulled out the drawer with too much vigor.
Installation was super simple. Follow instructions that are on the site already. Very easy.
