Oven bottom badly marred after 16 years.
Two set screws in rear; removed easily with a screwdriver. Old oven floor lifted out easily; new oven floor dropped in just as easily; set screws re-installed. Done. Pleasantly surprised at how easy this went.

Light burnt out.
Turned the wire protector to the side. Turned out the old bulb and replaced it with the new. Turned the wire protector back in place and I'm like new.

The numbers were worn off
Took the new knob out of package and it was an exact fit and what is even more amazing we had went to sears and they looked up the part and told us how much it was going to cost and in total we paid about 40.00 dollars and then sears contacted us back and said it was no available so they gave us our money back but they told us that they tried a number of places and it could not be found and am so thankful to parts direct for existing and helping us and it was so easy to order this is one very satified customer thank you so much

finish on old oven bottom was damaged
Ordered part from customer friendly Part Select and received the replacement part within a few days, and installed it promptly. Wife is happy and stopped grumbling about oven bottom unsightly defect! Small price to pay for a happy wife! Ernie

One burner went out
All I did was remove the old burner and put the other one on. Took less than a minute.

Screws fell into a black hole and trouble threading the thermostate
My husband and I probably could have done the repair in 15 minutes except for the difficulty lifting up the range top, dropping the screws into the range where they could not be retreived, threading the thermostate into the little holes from the top to the inside of the oven and then trying to hook the range top back into place. Even with all the difficulties we still accomplished the task in one hour. Thank goodness we had 4 extra screws that worked (actually only takes 2 but of the 6 we had, 4 fell into a place you could not reach into). Glue on the end of the screw driver finally kept the screws from falling into the black hole. It was an adventure and would do it again.

Burners were plugged

old burners were rusty and broken
I just lifted the old part and dropped the new one in. Everything fits perfectly. The new flame is a beautiful blue color.

The pipe that carry the gas to the ignition part was damaged, therefore the burner was not lightening up.
Just have to remove the old kit and replace it with the new one. No tool required.

one of the stove top burners had burned all the way through

old burner assembly could no longer be cleaned
pop up range top. pull off old burner. put on new one.
close top. check for rocking. install leveling washer. check again. 2nd burner didn't require leveling so it was quicker.
