Burner switch not controlling temperature properly. Double Burner
First, Locate the breaker in fuse and shut power off.
Remove all stainless control knobs and set to the side.
I used a 15/16 socket to remove black hold down nuts.
After removing, lift control panel off.
Next, remove 2 screws that hold the control in place.
Remove four 5/16" bolts that hold the control panel in place.
Lift panel and orientate new switch. I replaced one wire at a time and reinstalled the control panel. Pull new switch to align and install screws. At this point I turned the power back on and checked the operation. After confirming proper operation I reinstalled the control panel cover and knobs. Worked perfectly.

The light inside the oven had burned out
0. As a safety precaution, unplug the range or hit the relevant fuse breaker before you start. You might also want to grab a flashlight. Definitely do not try to do this while the oven is hot.
1. Pinch the wire over the light bulb cap to remove it. This is inside the oven at the back.
2. Pop off the hemispherical glass cap.
3. Unscrew the old light bulb, and screw the new light bulb in its place.
4. Put the cap back.
5. Secure the cap by putting the wire back in its slots on the cap.
No tools needed, the cap is just held in place with pressure from the wire.

shortage in wiring cause the housing to burn out

Bake and convection cycles quit working after a10 minutes
Unbolted temperature sensor from back of oven. Disconnect cable connector. Replaced and reconnected new sensor and bolted back in place. Haven’t had to replace bake element yet, but it’s a major job being this GE Profile oven has the bake element hidden. That’s a new one on me.

Back burner was not working.
Took top of stove off, disconnected the heating element, re-installed the new element and now my stove works fine.

Light burnt out.
Turned the wire protector to the side. Turned out the old bulb and replaced it with the new. Turned the wire protector back in place and I'm like new.

one leg of the terminal block was loose and overheated under load.the terminal block melted and could have caused a fire.
I took a picture of the setup and damage . I then disconnected the burnt wires and replaced the wires . Then I installed the new terminal block and connected the wires to the proper positions. The reason for the failure was that the delivery people didn't tighten the cord when they installed the stove . I would check the connections periodically as to avoid another situation like this .

oven temp. was not what setting called for
turned oven off, pulled oven out from wall, removed back of oven, unscrewed sensor from oven replaced with new sensor, put back on, turned power to oven on, tried oven at 425, my temp. gage and the oven temp matched. a very easy fix.

Old dishwasher rack and silverware rack
The whole process was very easy! I just got the model number and bought a new rack and silverware holder on,one. There was no assembly needed so I just popped them in and replaced the old ones! Very easy to do!

Oven lights were burning out regularly
Replaced the Oven light housing. Unscrewed the two screws that hold the housing in place. Pulled out the housing and disconnected the wire tabs from the light housing tabs. Slid the wire tabs onto the tabs of the new light housing fixture. (Each tab is fitted to the tab in goes on so they can not be mixed up) Pushed the housing fixture back into place and screwed the housing into place.
