the electrodes on this model have to be removed before you can raise cooktop, once cooktop is raised remove wire from burner bracket, use needle nose pliers to squeeze bottom of clip,remove &replace with new parts.

This surface burner is generically made for multiple manufacturer's stoves so the gas tip does not align with this model precisely. In order to make the gas tip aligns, one needs to bend the aluminum tube to an angle where it would fit to the stove housing or otherwise the gas outlet would not release the gas exactly to the right spot. This requires using either a professional aluminum bending tool or we will need to manually bend the tube slightly without causing kinking on the tube. Putting kinking on the tube would cause blockage of gas. I think your website should publish this so whoever buying this would know the risk as aluminum is a very soft metal and you can easily wreck the tube wasting the time and money. Other than that, the item works quite well.

The part that was ordered based on the shamanic wasn't the part that was needed for the repair. It was to short. I took the other screw for the other side and that screw was an inch longer than the screw that was ordered thru your company. I then went too a jar that I placed extra screws, nuts and bolts which l keep in my garage . I found a same length screw but a different head and it works perfectly fine. When I ordered the part from your company most of the parts did not have a photo of the part on file, or a description like how long the part is. I still ordered it because it should fit the make and model number that was posted on the shamanic that was showed to me on line.

Start by removing all screws 3 for each burner total of 15 t-15 bit is required then proceed to remove spark igniters 5 total slight pull next step would be to slide a screwdriver under top left and right side to remove top shelf. There you will have access to the parts you need to replace. When done just reverse installation instructions to complete

Removed burner and replaced

I removed two bolts at the rear of the oven bottom. I pulled the old oven bottom out, and put the new oven bottom in. I put the two bolts back in and voila it looks like a new oven. Done in less than 15 minutes.

Removed the old oven bottom by removing two nuts. Be careful...don't drop the nuts! Removed the heat shield that was attached with four nuts to the old bottom and transferred it to the new oven bottom. Then placed the new bottom in the oven and secured it with the two original nuts. Easy...but don't forget about transferring the heat shield and don't lose the nuts.

Husband actually did the repair, It went really well except he forgot to remove the heat shield from the old part to attach to the new bottom. (His mistake!)

I removed the bottom drawer, oven racks and bottom cover inside over, removed the screw at the front end of the burner. Unplugged the wire connector for the igniter. Removed the two retaining screws from the burner tube, removed from oven. Removed mounting screws from igniter to use on the new tube and igniter. Wire terminal did not match. Cut wire connector from old igniter, cut wire connector from new igniter. install old connector on new igniter with wire nuts.Install burner tube in oven. Connect igniter connector together. Reinstall over cover and racks. install bottom drawer. Turn on oven. Yah. It works. Their was a hold burned in the old burner tube causing the popping noise and finely not operating. Good to go. Could not have been simpler. Burner head dropped into place and was held in place by gravity. Not possible for part to go in incorrectly.
