First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Replaced the defective element with the new - all inless than fifteen minutes!

I pulled out the old burner - put the new one in and I was done. No tools required.

The first burner I received from PartSelect was warped. I called on Friday morning to see about returning it and ordering a new one. The CSR was very helpful and I was totally surprised to have the replacement arrive the very next day since I didn't ask for a Saturday delivery. I will definitely use PartSelect again.

I counldn't get the nut screw out. It wounldn't turn. Had to call a technican.

I spent half an hour finding my driver set. It took about 25 minutes to turn the power off, remove the racks and element and replace the new elements.

disconnected electricity, used pinch pliers to remove broken ends from connection box and used an already existing element to make sure a new one would work at all. Ordered new one that arrived very quickly and replaced the broken one. After years of taking these in and out for cleaning by outside cleaning help they are bound to break off. I will do the gentle removal from now on.

A breeze! Part was perfect replacement, snapped in place without tools, and heated almost immediately.

I've been looking for an 8" replacement burner for my GE stove after my original burner caught on fire over a year ago. I had all but given up on finding a replacement after searching at all the stores in my area and also searching on the net. After cooking sides for Thanksgiving dinner this year and the pain of cooking with only 1 large burner, I decided to search again for a burner on line and thank goodness I found this site! All I did was put in the model number of my range/stove and the site directed me to the replacement burner. The picture of the burner looked like mine, so I decided to purchase it but I still wasn't convinced it would fit and work because of my failed previous burner purchases. took the back panel off the range, took the 2 screws holding the switch in place, took the old switch out, marked the wires took the wires off and clipped them onto the new switch, put the new switch into the switch plate, replaced the screws put on the knob, put the panel back on the range. rolled the range back into it's place. turned the buner on to check if it worked. It did so we were done.

Just put it right into the receptacle. I want to add...we had gone to our local appliance store and brought home a wrong-size unit. Got online and your website came up. It was easy to find the correct part, ordered it and it arrived 3 days later. I have already recommended your website to 2 of my friends. One very good experience!!!
