Knob stem broke off.
Pulled stove out to access back panel. Unscrew broken switch/stem. Replaced each wire one at a time to make sure they went in right spot. Screw in new switch. Replaced back panel.

Melted bake element
Pulled out stove. Removed rear panel, and set aside. Removed melted bake element by unscrewing the mounting plate screws, and unplugging both leads from the stove. Replaced in reverese fashion. Easiest electrical replacement I have done.

heating element broken
After reading about possible losses of the wire leads, I put together a simple solution. First, turned off the breaker, then pulled the grates out for full access.
Using a nutdriver on the hex-head screws holding the backing plate to the oven wall, I removed the screws, then gently lifted and pulled the element and it's attached wire leads out of the insulated rear of the oven.
Attach a plastic clothespin to each lead above the spring clip attaching the lead to the element so the springy wire would not tend to pull back into the difficult-to-access insulated area "behind the wall" because that would be a real pain to get at.
With nothing other than fingers, the spring clips can then be removed from the tabs on the element, the old piece removed, the new element set in place and quickly re-connected. No Problem!

My heating element on the bottom of the stove burned out.
I unscrewed the 2 screws that held in the element, pulled it out a little, disconnected the 2 wires, got the new element out of the box, connected the two wires on the new element, put the screws back in and it was done! Very easy.

While making supper, we realized the bottom heating element wasn't working.
We decided to go "on line" to see if there was any way to fix the stove ourselves and found the Part Select website. After entering the model number for the stove, we were able to find the heating element. We ordered it and received it two days later! We saved money and time. Thank you!

F2 error when oven was heating up, along with a beeping noise and then it shut off
Unplugged oven, turned off breaker, took cover off back of oven, removed old sensor by disconnecting in back of oven and undoing screw inside oven. Pulled old one out replaced with new took 15min. Cost me less than $20. Parts Select rocks! Even received part in two days with standard shipping!

Bottom Oven Bake Element had burnt out/broke.
First- I slid the ove out and unscrewed the back metal piece/flap that covers where the element attaches to wires.
Second- I unscrewed the two nuts/screws that holld the element in place-An appropriately sized socket wrench would have made it way easier.
Third-Before pulling the element out, I disconnected the wire connection-the element tab just slid out of the connector.
Fourth- Pull out the old element and replace with new one. Attach wires before screwing in the element place holders.
Fifth-Replace back cover and screws. slide oven back into its nook,
Sixth-Bake some cookies.

Bake Element burnt out
First my husband removed the two screws that hold the element in place. Then pulled the element out and diconnected the two wires. The wires popped back in, so he took the shield off the back, I pushed the element in so he could see the prongs and hooked the wired back on. He then replaced the 2 screws and i was back to baking.

oven wouldn't heat

Baking element went out
My husband did the repairs so I don't really know all of those details. I do know that the replacement product was delivered as scheduled and because I had read all of the other repair stories, I knew to tell him not to let the wires slip back into the back of the oven. Thanks for all of you who wrote about your experiences. It only took him 15 minutes to fix my oven!

Burned-out Bake Element
Turned off power to stove. Removed burned-out element by removing two sheet metal screws and disconnecting two push-on electrical terminals.
Installed new element by pushing on electrical terminals. Pushed the new element back in place and secured with two sheet-metal screws.
Turned power back on and tested element. All OK.

oven element cracked
pulled out old element by unscrewing the 2 bolts in the back and vcarefully pulled out the two wire s . wires are very tight so if you let go of them which i did you will need a pair of needle nose plires to pull them out. other than that the installation is easy

Baking element was broken
1. Turn breaker to off position.
2. Using socket wrench, remove the old element.Takes a little prying to remove the connection from the eletrical wires.Be careful.
3. Insert new part and tighten with socket wrench.
