JSP27*02 General Electric Range - Instructions

1-Shut off the breaker
2-Pulled off the oven door for easier access
3-Unscrewed the old element plate
4-Unscrewed the red and black wires from the old element
5-Screwed on the new element to the wires
6-Replaced the screws on the new element plate
7-Turned the power back on

The new element arrived in just 2 days with normal postage. I followed the simple instructions and was cooking 15 minutes later. It couldn't have been easier. Thanks.

Parts arrived quickly and install was easy as removing two screws and removing the broken burner. Installed the new and I was done!

The old part was easily removed with a nut driver, and the new element went right in with a nut driver and screwdriver.

I was able to slide the stove out from the wall, so it was easier to remove the back cover and disconnect the wiring in back rather than trying to reach into the oven. Then all I had to do was put in the new coil, reconnect the wires and slide the stove back into place.

I am a CPA and not real handy at all. But I was able to remove the old element and install the new element in less then 15 minutes. It burned out on Saturday, I ordered new one FED-ex to speed up- received new one, on Tuesday. Very quick, and this was last week, the week prior to Thanksgiving- so my wife really needed our oven. Perfect fit. And I am not related to this company in any way, nor was I paid anything to say this, just happy this worked- or we'd be spending a lot more money.

Unplugged unit.
Removed two screws with nut driver.
Bake element easily disconnected.
Ordered part Tuesday night.
Received e-mail that part was shipped Wednesday.
Part arrived Thursday.
I installed part in minutes. Stove working again.

I ordered the part on Sunday afternoon and it was delivered by noon on Tuesday. I couldn't be more pleased. The service was amazing and the price including shipping was very fair.

Removed bolts from fixing plate, pulled out existing element, unscrewed wire connectors and installed new element in reverse order of removal. This is an old stove from the 60's or 70's so I was glad to get a replacement part and fit it myself so easily.

I first looked at a video PartSelect had done on replacing the bake element in a stove. I disconnected the stove's power plug from the wall, removed the baking shelves, and removed screws holding the cover plate for the old bake element with a nutdriver. I removed the two screws holding the power wires to the bake element and replaced the bake element with the new element purchased from PartSelect. The cover plate was repositioned by using the nutdrive to tighten the cover plate screws. After reinstalling the bake shelves and plugging the oven back in, the repair was finished.

Ordered on monday and arrived and installed on tuesday. Works great!

Got on line, found the correct part and ordered it. The part came in about three days. Removed two screws and removed teh element. Two additional screws were removed from the power wires once the element was removed. Very simple to replace.

We just took out the old one and put in the new. Works great!!

Removed old element by unbolting two nuts, replaced with new element and two new nuts that were included. Very easy and worked fine.Wish all repair jobs were this easy!Great service with ordering and prompt delivery, too.

Took out the two screws that held the old element. Disconnected (unscrewed) the two power cords. Screwed in new power cords and put two screws in new element. Works like a charm. Took longer to get the new element out of the box than to replace it! Thank you!!!
