Unpugged microwave. Removed the screws on the bottom cover of the micorwave. Unpugged drive motor and removed two screws from drive motor. Installed new motor and replaced the bottom cover, plugged in microwave . . . presto!

Installation was just as easy as numerous other customers indicated. Also, your service was as great as many other customers indicted . . . part was recieved in 2 business days. Thank you for great service and website.

Ordered a replacement grill, replaced the optional charcoal filter at the same time. Took just a little effort to get the alignment tabs in place--required just a little more elbow grease than you'd think, then replaced the two screws.

Handed the part to my son. He unscrewed 5 screws in the base of the microwave, it dropped down. The light mechanism was clearly in view. With the exception of some corrosion on the old piece, it was simple to remove and replace, put back together, screw back up and all worked fine.

Phillips screws on bottom panel allowed me to install new socket and put electric connection back. Secured bottom panel and that was it.

Removed bottom cover of microwave, involved removing 7 screws, removed turntable motor, involved disconnecting wire harness plug, and 2 screws, connnected wiring to new motor and reinstalled with original hardware

removed electrical wires, unscrewed holder, inserted holder, attached wires, added bulb, and put cover back on.

I removed 4 screw from the under carriage of the microwave then, removed the 2 screws from the motor, replaced the motor and replaced the screws. It was so easy it took only 4 minutes to perform, better than replacing the whole unit (microwave) and less expensive too. i only wish it was made in the US, I wouldn't mind to spend a little more.

My microwave was squealing horribly and replacing the turntable motor (SUPER easy btw) didn't fix it. So I figured it was a spun bearing or bushing in the cooling fan (spoiler alert -- it was!). Installation was simple and did NOT require removing the cabinet-mounted microwave from its position above our stove: Unplug microwave, carefully unscrew the 2 screws holding the vent grate above the door, remove the grate, then unscrew the one screw holding the top of the control panel to the case. Carefully pivot top of control panel down and unhook it from the case (at the bottom of the control panel there are two little legs or extensions that insert into slots in the case). Then disconnect the 3 or 4 wires that attach the control panel to the wiring harness (I marked them each with tape so I would remember where they go, but you can just take a picture with your phone). Set the control panel aside. Where the control panel was, you will be looking at the fan, with a bunch of wires between you and it. Take another phone picture for reference, just in case. Disconnect the various wires, starting at the top right and working your way around clockwise. I marked each wire with a piece of tape and a number, starting from 1 and working my way around an imaginary clock face. I think I got to 12 and then the last two (sort of buried in the middle) I labeled as "0" and "-1" but you can use any numbering series you like. Once the wires are all disconnected you can gently push them aside and unscrew the two screws holding the fan assembly in place, and disconnect the fan wire. Then gently maneuver the fan assembly out the front of the case. Installation is simply the reverse of this simple disassembly process. Voila! Back to a nice quiet microwave.

Placed the screws in the proper areas, used the screw driver to tighten down and I was in business with light to spare. I am happy to have found the proper screws.

This repair was one of the easiest I've ever done. I turned off the power to the microwave at the breaker, lowered the bottom panel by removing the screws, disconnected the wires to the old motor, pulled it out by removing two screws attaching it, attached the new motor with the same screws, connected the wires to it and that was all. The turnable has worked perfectly (and quietly) since.

Wow! It really was as easy as everyone says. I ordered the part. It came overnight. I took out the 6 screws on the bottom of the microwave (AFTER unplugging the microwave of course), unscrewed the part and unplugged it, put in the new motor, plugged it in and screwed it in, and replaced the bottom screws. The only trouble I had, which really has nothing to do with this part or the repair, was that some of the screws on the bottom of the microwave were very difficult to replace as they didn't seem to line up with the holes beneath. I had a handyman coming to do some deck repairs and had him put those in. Ah well. I did MOST of it myself.

There where five screws to remove to get the bottom off then two to release the motor from the housing pull the electrical supply cord out then reverse the process. Piece of cake.

Removed the 6 screws that held the cover below my microwave. Unplugged the part, plugged in the new one and I was done. My part arrived from you just one day after I ordered it! It was my first microwave repair ever, and it couldn't have been easier.

Turned the power to the unit off. Removed seven- (7) small screws from the base plate, not removing the rear screws. The plate dropped a few inches allowing me to get to the light socket. I removed one- (1) screw that allowed the socket to be removed. I then detached the two- (2) electrical leads. I now installed the new socket, replacing the leads and the screw along with a new bulb. I pushed the bottom plate back into the up position and replaced the seven- (7) screws. Turned the power back on and we were good to go.

Remove the ice bin.
Turn the ice maker selection to "OFF"
Use small flat blade screwdriver to open the plastic ears on the electic plug in connectiion
Use #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw on the front left side of the ice maker
Pull the ice maker forward until free of the two studs in the left side rear of the freezer wall
Check to see if the supplied water chute is the correct size for your application, if not remove the water chute from the old ice maker and place it on the new one.
Place the new ice maker in the freezer connecting the slots on the left read with the studs on the left wall
NOTE; IF THE ICE MAKER DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE LEVEL HORIZONTALLY REMOVE IT AND CAREFULLY REINSTALL IT TO ACHIEVE LEVEL
NOTE: ENSURE THE WATER DELIVERY TUBE RESTS IN THE RECEIVER TRAY
Reconnect the electrical plug ( needle nose pliers may be helpful in aligning the male plug with the female plug)
Move the selector from "OFF" to "ON"
Replace the ice bin and close the freezer door
