Turned off the breaker to the stove, removed oven racks, used small pair of plyers to remove bolts (2) holding defective element in place. Pulled (2) wires that had a snap connection apart. Old element was not removed. Connected (2) snap wires, pushed them back into the oven wall, used plyers to re-connect the element to oven. Installation DONE!
Turned on breaker and then the oven; we are now baking again.

It was real easy all I had to do was turn the breaker off,Undo two srews and disconnect the two wires. Then repeated the process to install

We were able to purchase the part and replace it for under $25. We took off the oven door and installed the new element in under 10 minutes.

This repair was idiot-proof. Removed 2 screws, unplugged the old part, plugged in the new one, and replaced the 2 screws.
Literally a 2 minute repair!!

Removed oven shelves (30 seconds). Removed 2 screws holding broken element to oven (2 minutes). Pulled broken element assembly out & removed 2 wires attached to element (1 minute). Connected wires to new element (just push them into place) and mounted new element with the 2 screws (1 1/2 minutes). Turned on oven element to test & since I was so tired from all of this 5-minute activity, I rested.

pulled out oven, unplugged power. Removed back cover for element, disconnect old element. Moved to front of oven and removed the two screws that held the old element,removed old element. Installed new element, connect element, installed cover, reconnect power.

Very simple. Two small hex shaped screws hold the unit to the back of the stove. Remove those with a small socket wrench. Rachet type makes the job easier. Gently pull the element from the back of the stove. Remove the two push-on wires from the element. They simple pull off. The elements have supporting feet toward the front. Those must be down to rest the element on the bottom of the stove. Replace the push-on wires, push the element back into the holes in the rear of the stove and screw the small hex shaped screws back into the oven wall. The job is done.

I followed the directions in the video on the website. The repair was so easy!! I simply unscrewed the screws holding the element in place at the back of the oven, pulled the wires out. This did take a little bit of time, as I didn't want to pull the wire off of the element and lose it in the back of the oven, but I was able to eventually work it free from the insulation and make the connectors visible. I slid off the old element, slid the wires back on to the new one and pushed them back into the wall of the oven and replaced the screws. Works like a charm!! I will definitely use your website for other appliance repairs!!

Pulled oven from wall, Unplugged oven from outlet, Took 5/16 nut driver pulled back cover off oven to expose the quick connect wires, Pulled wires off old element, Opened oven door took the 2 screws off bracket on back of oven, Removed old element, Put new element in place, Put the 2 wires back on, Buttoned back up check to see if worked it did ((:

I watched the video on the website then installed the part. In fact, I watched the video twice because I could not believe it was that easy. You can not do any better than PartSelect. I removed the 2 nuts and pulled the element out until I reached the disconnect and unhooked the elements from the wire. Replaced the new one in reverse order. It was great finding the part here after Sears said they no longer made the part.

shut power off to range, took 2 screws out, took 2 snap on clips off old element. put snap on clips on new element, put 2 screws back in, and turned breaker on.

Two screws hold the element to the oven wall. two wires attached to the back of the element. very simple removal and replacement.

Inspected bake element. Found void. Ordered new bake element from Parts Select. Price was very reasonable. Part came the next day. Stove was fixed in 5 minutes. Great place to get appliance parts. Saved over $100 if repairman was involved.

Super simple to repair, removed back cover on oven (after turning off breaker), removed old terminals from over, had to bend new element slightly close to terminals, installed new and replaced oven cover. Less than 15 minutes.
