The burner assembly seemed to be rusting some and had become not easy to clean. The grates had just become dirty and unable to clean so they were changed out for ascethetic reasons only.
I ordered the parts on line and they came very quickly through the mail. The burner assembly came with instructions for the installation of a nut. Everything was great - from the order to the delivery to the installation.

Hard to remove screws & no instructions that a heat shield had to be transferred from old to new
One of the initial two screws for the oven bottom would not budge. Finally used a socket set to loosen it up. Upon taking out the old bottom I turned it over & saw a heat shield attached. I have no idea if you can order a new bottom with a new shield already attached or not, but I had no idea it was there until I took the old part out. Out of the eight screws attaching the shied, four of them were also difficult to loosen up. But in the end the new bottom looks great !

replace ignition electrodes for GE gas stove
You need to remove the knobs and remove the panel where the knobs are connected.

You also need to remove the display panel front to gain access to the where the electrode wires attach.

The other screws are readily visible. It's about 30 screws that need to be pulled.

The adapter put on the electrode can be pulled off with needle nose pliers and a small screwdriver, if the adapter does not fit through the opening on your stove. Just put the adapter back on after you snake the wires through.

Rusted & Dirty Burners
I moved to an apartment where the past tenants did not take care of the stove. I think this stove is 10+ years old and looks like it was never cleaned in all of its existance! I cleaned everything really well with oven cleaner and lots of scrubbing. The stove looked brand new except the burners! I couldn't take it anymore so I ordered new ones. The burners came in less time than stated. I opened the box, took the burners out, lifted the oven hood and just placed them right where the others were. There are no tools needed it pretty much just gets placed down in the appropriate spot and that's that! No directions or tools needed. My stove looks awesome now!! When you first use the burners, you will probably need to place a match or lighter by the burner to get the fire going. After that, it lights perfectly every time.

bottom trim had rusted, so we needed new piece
Removed oven door (made sure hinges were locked open and stayed open). Remove part on top of trim, removed rusted trim and replaced with new trim. Replaced part on top of trim and screwed all back together. Put oven door back on and unlocked hinges. It was easier than the trial run (when I hadn't realized that the hinges weren't locked open!)

Replace glowbar igniter
Removed the old glowbar's two screws. Didn't take a mental photo of its proper placcement (or a real one, which would've been smart). Removed screws holding 1) a heat protection plate, and 2) wire harness plate. Installed the new glowbar, hopefully, the right way - with its heat-plate facing the gasline of the over/broiler. Reinstalled the heat protection plate and wire harness plate. Hasn't blown up yet!

Oven wouldn't heat
I let my brother do the actual installation but it only look about 15 min. I did look at the website of the appliance manufacturer first and then came to this website. The cost of the part I needed was almost half as much as the other site. When I saw that someone with the same oven model number and had the same problem and was able to fix it, I decided to order here. It came quickly and my oven now works.

Oven would not light
Tested for power to the igniter, (had power) so I knew it must have been the igniter that had failed. Removed two screws that held the shield in place, remove two screws that hold the igniter and disconnect the plug form the igniter, replace with new igniter.

Part will wear out after a couple of years
In my case it was the lower burner so I unplugged oven and turned gas off.
Then I removed the bottom drawer, and the lower burner cover.
Next unplug Oven Igniter, found where drawer existed.
Removed 2 screws attaching Igniter using nutdriver
Placed new Igniter on
Plug Igniter in and tested oven
Replace burner cover and drawer

This was much easier then what I went through with a repair man the first time around. These Igniter are designed for certain model stoves and are not interchangable with other model stoves!!!

The trim piece on the bottom of the door was rusted making the unit look really dirty and used.
It was pretty simple. Just remove the door as the bottom piece holds all the parts together. Place on table top and remove old trim. Install new trim and install door. The only difficult part was the trim had a space for the glass door front. I opened up the space so that the glass would seat easier. Went together real easy. Stove looks like it's brand new.

Gas Broiler Igniter didn't work. Broiler would not come on
Pulled the gas stove out so that I could shut off the gas valve and unplug the power cord. Job was made easier by removing the oven door (which just slides out). I took the 2 screws out that held the old igniter in place. Went to the rear of the range where there was a small 3"X2" electrical cover for the igniter, and disconnected the wire leads from the wiring harness. I then pulled the old igniter out through the oven front. Fed the new igniter wires through the back of the range and plugged the new igniter in. Reinstalled the electrical cover in the back of the range, attached the 2 -1/4" screws to reinstall the igniter inside the broiler. Put back the oven door. Turned the gas valve back on and sprayed on a soapy solution to check for gas leaks. Plugged the electrical cord back in. Pushed range back in place, Turned broiler on. Wait for a few seconds till the gas comes back thru the line. Works great Our stove was a GE Profile Gas Range. The part number for the igniter is WB13K21. We are very satisfied. Jim
