Removed two screws that held the element flange onto the back of the oven, then two more little screws that held the element tips to the wires in back. Installed in the reverse sequence in about 10 minutes. A whole lot cheaper than calling a repairman! Thanks, the PartSelect customer service lady was a great help in getting me the right part for a 20 year old oven too.

First, I turned of breaker for the appliance. Removed two hex head (1/4") screws that hold element in place at back of oven. Gently pulled element exposing wires connected at base of element by hex head screws. Removed the screws and olf elelemt, placed new element in place, tightened screws, inserted into base and tightned screws for plate that holds element. After turning on the breaker, I set the oven to a low temp so I could feel the heat without burning my hand and was satisfied that the element worked.

Ordered the part on Fri. AM and it arrived Sat. PM! Could not believe how quickly it arrived. Husband replaced the old element and I am baking again! Thank you.

Turned off power at breaker and removed old element and replaced new element.

Getting the part out was easy. Turned the power off (of course) first. The outside nuts were corroded, so had to use a pair of pliers to get them off. The inside connectors were easier to get off. I had a little trouble getting the connectors on the wires. The metal part on the heating element kept wanting to bend. I finally had someone hold that in place while I made the connections. The outside screws were easy to put on. The oven now works great. I think the element was failing over a period of time, and we just didn't notice. I can't remember the last time I actually saw the element get RED hot. Works great. Thanks for your quick service and reasonable prices. Will definitely use you again, when I need parts like this. first remomed screws of element, then removed screws to + & - connections, removed element & replaced with new one. Was very easy to find new part thanks to your easy partselect.Thanks Alan Collins

No instructions provided, but not needed. Removed two screws holding element in place. Removed two screws connecting element to power wires. Installed new element using reverse process.

I removed the plate held by 2 screws that holds the element, pulled the coil out and disconnected the yellow and red wires. Removed the broken one and connected the new one. Very simple. I also would like to add that you people are great to deal with and I will tell everyone to buy parts from PartSelect. Your service is outstanding and fast. Thank You.

The repair was very, very easy. The hard part was locating the part. I could not find it at any local hardware store. Went on-line and ordered part with PartSelect.com and it was at my front door the next day. The job was done in less than 15 minutes later. Thank You

Safety first! Flipped breaker for oven in main breaker box.
Removed two screws that hold element in place.
Pulled element out approximately three inches and disconnected the two wires from the element.
Be careful not to let wires slip back into opening.
Attach wires to new element and carefully put back in correct position. Install two screws to secure.
Flip breaker back on. Turn oven on and show the little woman what a handyman you are! She might be so impressed she'll bake a cake.

Turned off the power source to the oven. I then removed the two screws that hold the element in place, then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires at the back. The hardest part was getting the screws turned to connect the new wires at the back.

Repair was easy! I asked my son to take out the old and put in the new! He did! The oven works like new again for less than $50.00!!! Thanks!

First I shut off power to oven. Then I removed two screws from the back of the oven. Pulled elemeent out a couple of inches and diconnected from the power source. I removed the old unit and replaced it with the new one. Connected it to power source. Pushed element back into place and replaced the screws. Turn the power back on and turned on the oven. ....And there was HEAT!

I removed the two screws that hold the element in place; pulled the element out, disconnected the two wires held on by screws, replaced the element with a new one and reversed the procedure.
