JKP07107 General Electric Range - Instructions

Getting the part out was easy. Turned the power off (of course) first. The outside nuts were corroded, so had to use a pair of pliers to get them off. The inside connectors were easier to get off. I had a little trouble getting the connectors on the wires. The metal part on the heating element kept wanting to bend. I finally had someone hold that in place while I made the connections. The outside screws were easy to put on. The oven now works great. I think the element was failing over a period of time, and we just didn't notice. I can't remember the last time I actually saw the element get RED hot. Works great. Thanks for your quick service and reasonable prices. Will definitely use you again, when I need parts like this. Turned off electricity at fuse box. Unscrewed old element and removed. Put in new element, screwed it in. Turned on electricity. Voila.

The bottom heating element burned out. Ordered the right part and my husband fixed the heating element. This saved a lot of money.Thanks, RM from South Carolina

Turned off power at breaker and removed old element and replaced new element.

first remomed screws of element, then removed screws to + & - connections, removed element & replaced with new one. Was very easy to find new part thanks to your easy partselect.Thanks Alan Collins

removed 4 screws and exchanged units put the 4 screws back in. about 10 min.

I removed the plate held by 2 screws that holds the element, pulled the coil out and disconnected the yellow and red wires. Removed the broken one and connected the new one. Very simple. I also would like to add that you people are great to deal with and I will tell everyone to buy parts from PartSelect. Your service is outstanding and fast. Thank You.

First I shut off power to oven. Then I removed two screws from the back of the oven. Pulled elemeent out a couple of inches and diconnected from the power source. I removed the old unit and replaced it with the new one. Connected it to power source. Pushed element back into place and replaced the screws. Turn the power back on and turned on the oven. ....And there was HEAT!

I removed the two screws that hold the element in place; pulled the element out, disconnected the two wires held on by screws, replaced the element with a new one and reversed the procedure.

Turn off power to oven. Make sure with tester that the power is indeed off. Disconnected the two fasteners holding the old unit face plate to rear of oven. Pull the unit outward to expose the leads. Disconnected the leads. Reform new element to remove minor bends so it will sit flat on the floor of the oven. With plies holding the leads straight connect new unit to oven leads. Push new unit back into mounting hole. Reconnect new unit face plate to back of oven. Check that unit is level. Turn the power back on. Test the unit. All works just fine.

Removed two screws to release the burner, then two screws to disconnect the wiring and replace them. Then inserted the burner int position and replaced the two screws which were removed to remove the burner.

Very easy, however you will need a flashlight to see by since the back of the oven is rather dark.

Turned off the power source to the oven. I then removed the two screws that hold the element in place, then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires at the back. The hardest part was getting the screws turned to connect the new wires at the back.

The repair was very, very easy. The hard part was locating the part. I could not find it at any local hardware store. Went on-line and ordered part with PartSelect.com and it was at my front door the next day. The job was done in less than 15 minutes later. Thank You
