Remove the old element by removing one screw and inserted new element and replaced the screw.

(e.g. First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires...)

It was so easy, we got on the General Electric web site and entered the old model number, found our match and ordered the part. It came 3 days later and it was so easy to remove the old one and install the new one, only two screws to remove. Saved a lot of money by doing it ourselves! Thank goodness for websites like this!!

Once I watched the video pertaining to the installation of the part, the job was very easy.

It was quite simple after the part arrived. I actually had forgotten what the connection was because one wire was yellow and one was red. After calling the number that I had to no avail. I went to the computer to ask how to install the part. Installed in little to no time. Feel like a Jill of all trades. Bring on the next problem.

This is a forty five year old oven. It was only four screws and it was done. The new part works like a champ! This save me from buying a $800.00 replacement. I removed the two 1/4 screws holding the element to the back of the oven and then took the flat head screws loose from the terminals on the old element. I then put everything back as it came out; took less than 5 minutes and the part arrived overnight! Thank you again!!

first i removed two screws pulled that hold the element in then pulled element out about 3 inche disconnected the two wires now hot meals thanks

pull oven from wall,unplugged.removed back with small hex or screw driver . opened oven slide element into slot screwed two screws in, pushed in two connectipn on back .replaced cover on back .plugged in and put oven back in place.

Undid two screws to pull the element out, and another two to unhook it from the wires. Reverse procedure with the new element and baked some muffins. The hardest part about this repair was getting the part. I typo'd my shipping address and had to knock on a neighbor's door!

Replaced old bake element by removing two screws holding it to back of oven. Disconnected old bake element from lead wires by removing two other screws. Installed new bake element by reversing the process. Only issue is that the tabs on the element that connect to the leads are easily bent and you need to use vise-grips to keep from bending them. I unscrewed the screw that held the element in place and then took the hex head nuts holding the 3 wires off the old element. When taking the wires off, I had the new element next the old and put each on the same connection one at a time to make sure I replaced the wires in the same location they were on the old element. After connecting the 3 wires, I reattached the element to the range.

got new part delivered two days after ordering. I turned off breaker, used a 1/4" wrench to remove the fasteners holding the heating element to the back inside wall of the oven. used screw drivers (one Phillips and one flathead) to remove the screws holding the heating element to the wires. ensure you pull the wires slight out (easily) to ensure they don't pull back into the oven wall. unplug the element from the wires, install new element in reverse fashion and voila, done.

1. remove two nuts on rear of oven wall.2. remove 2 screws holding connection to element. 3. attach element to oven wires w/ 2 screws. 4. reinstaill 2 nuts to oven wall. 5. Test oven.Make sure power supply is disconnected @ electrical box!

Shut off breaker to oven. Removed two screws holding the element. Removed two wires attached. Cut back old wires and crimped on two new eyelet terminals. Screwed wires onto element and reattached. Turned breaker on and tested. Works great. Any girl can do it.

Removed the element and put in a new one. Screw mounted interface to 230 mains involved removing two screws in oven wall and two connecting the main wires. Screws were provided with element. Effortless replacement saved an expensive house call and/or oven replacement. Oven is 44 years old and Parts Select had an original replacement part here in 4 days at new years. Part was only $18.45.
