removed the element with 2 screws. disconected element with 2 screws. reversed order to install new element.

Shopped online for a good price for the heating element. Thw element came very quickly, very good packaging. Removed and replaced the element.

Removed access screws from bake element cover, removed screws retaining wire connections on bake element, reverse procedure, and heat to burn off contaminants.

Took out the old (removed 2 screws holding the element to the back of the oven, disconnected the 2 screws attaching the electrical wires to the element). Decided to clean the oven with EasyOff. It took longer to spray this on, and then later wipe it up, than the repair itself. Reversed the procedure for the new element. A very simple repair - my wife is amazed!

After checking the website, I wasn't sure the part I needed was available. Called the Customer Service number and the lady was very helpful.
My part was delivered in 2 days regular UPS.

The most time took finding which breaker shut off the power to the oven. Removed two screws on the inside of the oven at the back wall. Pulled out the wiring and removed two more screws that attached the power to the element. Replaced the old element with the new one. Reversed the process. Done in 12 minutes! Very easy.

Turn off power to oven. Make sure with tester that the power is indeed off. Disconnected the two fasteners holding the old unit face plate to rear of oven. Pull the unit outward to expose the leads. Disconnected the leads. Reform new element to remove minor bends so it will sit flat on the floor of the oven. With plies holding the leads straight connect new unit to oven leads. Push new unit back into mounting hole. Reconnect new unit face plate to back of oven. Check that unit is level. Turn the power back on. Test the unit. All works just fine.

Getting the part out was easy. Turned the power off (of course) first. The outside nuts were corroded, so had to use a pair of pliers to get them off. The inside connectors were easier to get off. I had a little trouble getting the connectors on the wires. The metal part on the heating element kept wanting to bend. I finally had someone hold that in place while I made the connections. The outside screws were easy to put on. The oven now works great. I think the element was failing over a period of time, and we just didn't notice. I can't remember the last time I actually saw the element get RED hot. Works great. Thanks for your quick service and reasonable prices. Will definitely use you again, when I need parts like this. unscrewed the broken one and replaced it with the new heating element. Worked perfectly! 20+ year old oven.

Unscrewed old element and screwed in the new one.

Removed two small bolt screws that held the bottom burner in place. Unscrew the two small screws that attach the oven wiring to the bottom burner. Put the bottom burner back in place and screw the two small bolt screws back in and its done.

Turned off electricity at fuse box. Unscrewed old element and removed. Put in new element, screwed it in. Turned on electricity. Voila.

Removed 4 screws and removed the old element and replaced in the reverse order.

Used nut driver to remove old element and screw driver to remove power leads. Reversed process to install new element. Took about 5 minutes.

First of all let me say, I am grateful you are supplying parts to an oven made in 1984. I noticed the crack the day before Thanksgiving and immediately started looking for the part because Thanksgiving was the least of my worries. I have a countertop broiler to cook the turkey and dressing in but I am catering a huge party in a week and really need the oven in top shape. Due to minor surgery I have not made the repair but I want to say thank you for getting the part to me on Saturday right after Thanksgiving. Wednesday to Saturday with a two day holiday is incredible. Thanks for the great customer service.
