REGS37BNL2 Frigidaire Range - Instructions

Oven quit heating after less than 6 years. Checked with a volt-ohm meter and determined element was open. Ordered new element. Unit arrived in good time, replaced in about 15 minutes with no problems at all. Took longer to remove and replace oven door tha it did to install element.

Thank for having the part necessary to put the old range back in shape. The repair job was simply to unplug the old one and plug in the new one! Great simply job!

After the oven cooled, removed the bake element withe a couple of screws, got on line and ordered the part. Two days later the new element arrived and we put the screws back in with the new element. Problem solved.

took out the screws at the back of the oven, removed the old element and put the new one in, replaced the screws. The new part was mostly the same size as the old one, some of the angles were different and the ends slightly different, but it fit and works great.

Removed back of stove, removed screws holding old element. attached new element in same place, returned back to stove. My wife pushed element from inside stove into holes, which was a help. Voila! It works great.

Bake element went back in very easy. However still wouldn't work. Called repairman and computer chip was shorted out as well. Additional $250.00 later stove works.

I'm a stay at home mom so when the oven didn't heat up I through oh no I have to get a new one. Well who can afford to get a new oven right after christmas. So I played with it to see if the other parts still worked, when I found that they did, I googled the the Appliance name, that is when PartSelect showed up and they had a video on how to replace the bake element. It looked doable so I ordered the part and it really was a easy fix. It took less than 10min all I had to do was pull out the old element and put in the new element. Unplugged stove, use nutdriver, removed screws, pulled out old element, put in new one. Done. As prescribed. Excellent help as well as got part the next business day.

took me longer to find my 1/4 inch nut runner and drill than to change out the element.........simpliest replacement i've ever encountered and i'm 64 years old. less than 2 minutes......

Even though my exact model was not matched by Parts Select the bake element shown in a picture for a different model was correct. The length the bake element protruded through the wall of the oven was the same as the old one. The element arrived within two days, packaged so it would not be damaged en transit.

The problem was that there was heat in the oven but only a little. This threw me off at first but my wife tells me that the broiler element is used as the oven heats up. So bottom line is, the main element was burned out and once I replaced it, everything worked fine.

First, trip the circuit breaker for your stove. Second I removed the two screws ( 1/4" nut driver makes this go quickly ) that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches ( double check the electricity is off with your tester )and disconnected the two wires from each side of the element. Press connectors on new element and slide back in.

Just took the back of the stove off and removed old one and put new one in. Very simple.

Read the reviews and followed the same procedure. Very east..took about 10-15 minutes.
