Aluminum foil on bottem of oven melted and made a mess on new stove
Unscrewed the oven bottom plate and removed. Put new one in place and screwed it in place. Stove looks brand new again and am so happy with the results.The part we received was a perfect match and arrived in a few days!

Broken oven front door glass
Removed screws surrounding the door glass and since it was the outer glass there wasn't any other removal required.

Switch was sparking
Took back cover off 2 screws held the switch then moved wires one at a time from old switch to the new one put everything back plugged in stove everything worked

replaced the infinite burner switch
I watched you vedio and done just as the vedio told me how to change the switch. When I got the switch on pluged it in turned it on and every thing work great. thank you very much.

Burner would get hot, but would not turn down.
To find problem. I turn the power off to range. Removed top back panel. Removed switch and found there was a black spot on white covering of switch. So I order a switch. When it came I turn power off to range. Removed the top panel on back of range. Removed one wire at a time and put it on the new switch. Once all wires were on new switch. I removed old switch and installed new one. I then reinstalled the top back panel and turned the power back on. It is really easy to do. If you are not confident enough. Take a picture of the back of range before removing the panel. Then take a picture of the wires before you remove them.

Large burner switch made popping and buzzing noises.
The video was a great help. I could have replaced the switch without watching it, but it gave me confidence that I was doing it right. Everything went just like he said it would. Burner seems to work better now and no more scary noises.

No current to the burner
Checked the burner and no power to heat the burner. removed the old switch and put on the new one.

Large burner wouldn'cycle to temperature setting
Large burner would cycle on and off per temp setting a few times. Then it would stick on high. Read other problems people had with the burner switch, which helped to determine the problem. Instillation per video was pretty straight forward; but the issue I ran into was when pulling off the wires from old switch, there was a short wire which connected to the indicator light. The abrupt release yanked the wire which caused the lens indicator to snap. So, when you are repairing the switch, be aware if there is enough slack in the wires to prevent that issue

Burner stays on when switch is in the off position.
Confirm the problem and check electrical diagram to see if there was any other circuit in the syatem that could cause the burner to stay on , remove back cover and inspect switch contacts, found them burnt , look up parts for the model number and replace it.

Large burner doesn't turn down or shut off.
Followed video instructions on your web site.Removing one wire at a time as suggested simplified installation.Somehow i lost burner lens indicator.Ordered it from your website cost $3.84 plus shipping recieved in one day. GREAT SERVICE

audible beeper stoped, lights quit
Switch the main circuit breaker to off. Then unplug the oven from the recepticle socket. Use a 1/2" nut driver to remove the back panel. These are hold in by metal self tapping screws. With pencil / paper copy down the color coded wires and were they go. With a small blade screwdriver pry the plastic sockets so you can unplug the multi-pin connector. Using a #2 philips screwdriver remove the screws holding the controller board. Using the pocket knife carfully separate the front label panel from the old controller. This will be used on the new controller. Using the philip screws place the new controller in place and hand tighten. Remove the colored wires from the old controller and place them on the new controller. Insert the multi-pin connector into the socket on the new controller. Put the back panel on, plug the oven in and turn the circuit breaker to on.

aluminum foil melted on oven bottom
It cannot be cleaned as it welded itself to oven bottom. Two screws in back of oven bottom and it lifted right out. The new bottom says "do not use aluminum foil" Very easy repair.

damaged bottom pan
Removed 2 back screws, lifted pan from rear and pushed front slightly forward/into oven until front lip cleared. Installed new pan in reverse order.

inner glass uncleanable
Took door apart, went online to partselect, ordered new glass, and put it back together. Oven looks like new. Makes sense to order the isolation as well when you do the repair

Large element would only heat on high.
The infinite switch arrived promptly and while not a perfect match fit the range fine. It took me a few extra minutes to figure out the wiring configuration, but it was fairly easy. I was very pleased with Parts Select's service.
