turn off power to oven at breaker box
remove screws holding bake element in
pulls wires off old element
put wires on new element
put the screws back in
turn the power back on

The repair took less time than finding the model number. After unplugging the range and allowing it to cool I disconnected the element (2 screws), went online and found Part Select ordered the element and saved $16.00 dollars over the least expensive local shop, I was amazed at how fast the element arrived, I believe it was 4 days from order to my door. I went to my local hardware store for some new connectors for the wire, put them on and plugged in the element fastened down the two screws and went back to baking cookies. The element was well and safely packed and came in perfect condition. It works like a charm. Thank You

My husband removed the screws and took out the heat element and when we received the new heat element in 3 days (thank God!) My husband put the new part in the oven and replaced the screws!! Total repair time was about 5 mins!!!

using a nut driver I removed to two screws that were holding the element in place. Then simply disconnected each wire. Removed the old element and plug the new wires onto the new element. Reinstalled the two screws and everything works fine

Just followed the same instructions that the other people did when replacing this element. Was very easy to replace . Just turned off the power , rwemoved the two nuts , pulled the wires out about 3 inches and unpluged old one and pluged in the new one, replaced the nuts and volia ,DONE

Very quick and easy fix. Used a nut driver to unscrew the bolts. Pulled it out and disconnected the two wires. I was very happy with the wonderful service we received from Partselect.com. I ordered the part Sunday evening and the part was here Tuesday by noon. I payed regular shipping charges. What a pleasant surprise!

Take out 2 screws disconnect the wires one on each side removed element recoonnected the wires put the 2 screws back in . Also I did flip breaker off while working. When I turned the oven on I noticed it gets bright red almost instantly. I dont remember my old getting red at all. this tells me it probably needed changing a lot earlier. I ordered the part sunday nite it arrived wednesday at lunch.I will definetly use this co again.

Unplug the oven, open the door, take the screws out of the back wall that hold the small brackets which hold the element. Pull the element out of the wall, and pull a little of the wires with it to grasp easily. There are square nut screws, so you need the appropriate tool. Unplug the old element from the wires, and plug the new one in. Screw everything back together! This was a very easy fix!

The element went out on a Wednesday. We ordered the part the next day. We received it the following Tuesday (Mon. was a holiday). My 16 yr. old son replaced the part within 15 minutes. It was a piece of cake-actually it was a pizza!!
First and foremost we turned off the breaker, a very important thing to remember!! Then he removed the two screws that hold the element in place. He then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires...and reconnected the new ones and put screws back in. Voila!! Ours was stillll under warranty, but we would have had to pay the service call and labor costs. Our do it yourself was much cheaper and faster!!

Turn power off. At oven, removed two screws from element hanger. Pulled old element out exposing spade connectors. Pulled connectors lnstalled connectors on new element and shoved back in stove and replaced screws. Work done with oven door open using drop light. Check for debris, turn power on, turn oven on to check.

Unplugged the range. Removed the top section of the back of the stove to expose switches. Removed the knob, (pulls off exposing the 2 switch screws), unscrew & pull out from the back. The new switch was slightly bigger but the same manufacture and post letters & numbers. Transfer wires one-at-a-time from the old to the new switch. Mount the new switch back in place, put the screws in and the knob on. I plugged in the stove for a quick test, HA....works perfectly. Unplugged again and put the back panel back on, plugged back in and pushed the stove back in it's hole. BEFORE; the old switch when turned down would come back on BUT stay on high, a lot of boil overs. FINALLY: when turned on, it would NOT turn off, a real fire hazard. Thank you for having an original replacement part.

Very easy. Remove two screws, pull element forward, remove two wires, install wires on new element, push backward and reinstall the screws. Done!!!

I followed the instruction on the web site and the installation was just like the instruction. Very quick and easy. I was so happy and now I am baking up a storm again.

really easy unscrew the element from the back of the oven unclip remove old one slide clip on the new one and screw back to back of oven. Took 10 minutes or less
