FEF369HCC Frigidaire Range - Instructions

The bulb has a plastic clear cover. That cover can just be carefully removed using a screwdriver. It's held in by a metal bracket. After you remove the cover. You'll just need to replace the bulb and then re-install the cover and bracket.

After a brief discussion with CS about the electric stove part was shipped it arrived and I proceeded to install I found it needed to be installed sideways not up & down like the old one. The terminals did not line up so I put the black lead first and the purple lead last in doing that I burned out the switch??? was not easy to install as the video showed his switch matched each wire? My installation was sideways??

We watched the video instruction which was very helpful. We unplugged the stove and removed the back panels. Then we carefully disconnected the oven electronic control board and removed it. We used the putty knife to peel off the face plate from the old control board and secured it to the new one. We put the new control board in place and reconnected the wiring. We put the back panels on and plugged the stove in. It was very easy to complete the whole process. Unfortunately, the oven did not work but the broiler element did. We had to place another order for the oven bake element purchase. Otherwise all went well and there were no casualties.

Used instruction video & replaced part.

Removed 4 screws on back cover removed 1 screw holding probe and unplugged the probe took it out and installed new probe.

The youtube video clearly described how to remove the back panel and how to replace the probe.
The repair took maybe 20 minutes to complete and 1/2 of that time was spent cleaning behind and underneath the range!
Range is working perfectly now!

First unplug range. Remove 6 screws on back of range( 1/4 socket). Remove 4 screws holding Clock/Timer (cross point driver). Peal off plastic front cover from old Clock/Timer and place on new Clock/Timer. Remove electrical connections from old unit and insert on new. Replace all screws and plug range in.

Very easy just had to pull the wire up that holds it secure.

I looked up the problem on YouTube and it said it was the oven temperature probe was going out. So I ordered the probe and it was shipped out, received within two days. Took out a few screws on the back of the stove installed it, put it all back together and it’s working perfect.

Replaced the old E/CT with the new one.

I changed the temperature sensor and tried again. The stove again went on temp runaway and it was suggested to replace control board which is out of stock.
I will have to toss out this stove and buy new as you and no else has this part.

My friend used a tester to determine where each wire was supposed to connect to. I'm not sure what he did with the extra connections.
Bottom line is this part should work but you need an expert to do it for you because it's, like I said, not exactly like the one to be replaced.

NEED A QUARTER INCH SOCKET FOR THE BOLTS. REMOVE THE BACK PANEL AND THEN YOU WILL SEE THE TWO ELECTRIC WIRES GOING TO THE TERMINALS OF THE ELEMENT. DISCONNECT AND THEN GO TO THE FRONT OF OVEN AND REMOVE THE FOUR BOLTS THAT HOLD IN THE TOP ELEMENT. SIMPLY, VERY SLOWLY PULL THE ELEMENT FORWARD UNTILL IT CLEARS THE BACK AND YOUR GOOD TO GO. DO NOT FORGET TO DISCONNECT THE POWER TO THE OVEN BEFORE YOU START!

removed screws from back cover then pulled elect. plug apart. removed screw pulled out probe installed new probe put cover back on very easy only problem was that it said that 88% of time would fix the problem. will this time it didn't work oven still over heating.
