FES355EBE Frigidaire Range - Instructions

2 screws disconnected old one and pulled out the new one in put in opposite way. The representative was so helpful, part came fast. thank you

Just pulled the old cook top burner out and put the new one in .it took about 1 1/2 minutes

The bulb has a plastic clear cover. That cover can just be carefully removed using a screwdriver. It's held in by a metal bracket. After you remove the cover. You'll just need to replace the bulb and then re-install the cover and bracket.

Phillips screwdriver used to remove 2 screws at top left in oven. Pulled thermostat out until I could get to the connector. Used pliers to hold wire, reconnected new plug , threaded it back into back of oven and reattached the two screws.
Saved $150 on a service repair call.

1. Turned power circuit breaker off
2. Removed all control knobs (they pull off)
3. Removed cover retainers (below control knobs) with screwdriver
4. Removed cover plate
5. Removed clock/timer anchor screws
6. Rotated clock/timer unit to expose wiring connections
7. Marked locations of all wiring connections and disconnected wires
8. Connected wires to new clock/timer unit
9. Installed new clock/timer unit with anchor screws
10. Installed cover plate with cover retainers
11. Replaced control knobs
12. Turned power circuit breaker on and tried all controls to verify o.k.

unscrew the sensor inside the oven; took off the back of range to access harness of sensor; the replacement part harness did not match up to the original, so we stripped the clip from the end of the part and also the end of the harness in should clip into. after joining the wires together with ceramic wire nuts we tested the oven to make sure all worked AND IT DID!

All you do it unplug the old one and plug in the new one.

Very easy just had to pull the wire up that holds it secure.

removed the screws holding the front part of the door and from there worked my way, untill the third glass.
It took a couple hours, my first time,. Overall easy,

Removed two screws that are attached to handle then removed four screws from bottom edge of oven door. I was then able to remove the outer door glass,this gave me access to the three inner glasses. After removing the retainer for the glass assembly,I was able to remove all three and replace the inner one.I reversed this proceedure to reassemble.

There is an installation video , but it was so easy, and if you clean your drip pans from those inevitable spills you can do this. I have zero mechanical abilities and I did. The website makes it easy to find your part, and the original literature you got with your appliance will direct you where to find the Model # and serial # on your Frigidaire Range. Order your part on line, get it in the mail and insert the Element yourself.Very happy with my transaction.

Pretty easy installation; you lift the top plate up and snip the wires maybe four inches away from the burner. Leave more wire than you think you need; once you get into it you'll realize you need more wire length than you think.

Then strip the remaining ends, twist them together with the provided caps, and use the heat shrink to hold it together. Remove the old terminal, replace it with the new ones, and you're good to go!

Remember to check that the wires are tight in the cap before heat shrinking, though. I had to get more shrink wrap in order to finish.

Just followed the instructions

Pulled out the old drip bowls and replaced with the new. A simple snap!

Just replace the parts. Too easy for an old man.
