after pulling away from wall and unplugging remove 5 screws in upper back panel lift off being careful of sharp edges if part of lens is still in hole push it out towards the front insert lens from front of unit slide light assy over pin on back of lens replace back panel plug in range push back against wall check for level you're done

slid the old one out and slid the new one in.turned the unit on and it works

Removed old switch, moved the one wire to the same pin on new very cheaply made but expensive made in Mexico switch, replaced switch, pugged range back in too AC, operated new switch, created sparks and smoke. Element now glows to max immediately when turned on. Replaced stove problem gone!

turn off power to oven at breaker box
remove screws holding bake element in
pulls wires off old element
put wires on new element
put the screws back in
turn the power back on

The repair took less time than finding the model number. After unplugging the range and allowing it to cool I disconnected the element (2 screws), went online and found Part Select ordered the element and saved $16.00 dollars over the least expensive local shop, I was amazed at how fast the element arrived, I believe it was 4 days from order to my door. I went to my local hardware store for some new connectors for the wire, put them on and plugged in the element fastened down the two screws and went back to baking cookies. The element was well and safely packed and came in perfect condition. It works like a charm. Thank You

My husband had recently moved out of our house so I was very nervous about trying this repair myself but it was actually very easy!!I ordered the part on Monday, it arrived on Wednesday and Wednesday night I was baking dinner in the oven!!

ordered new heating element, arrived promptly as expected, compared new heating element to old one and it matched in size only diameter a little different, removed two sheet metal screws holding element in place and pulled out element to expose conductors and removed them with screwdriver. Installed conductors on new heating element slid into holes and installed screws, turned power back on(first step is to turn off power) turned on oven to preheat and she worked like a new one. I watched your how to video and used my voltmeter to check my baking element. I found it defective and ordered your replacement. 5 or 6 days later it arrived in the mail. I installed it per the video and my wife baked a pizza to try it out. Perfect! Thank you.

Open the door and slide in the new rack.

Undid 2 screw nuts holding the element to the back wall, with a 1/4" socket. Pulled off the two wires, pushed them onto the new element. Screwed the two nuts back on the rear wall. Done! Easy, worked 1st try.

unfastened clip at back of oven w/screwdriver. Pulled out the plug, unplugged the element. Plugged in new element, pushed back into place, refastened clip to hold it in place at back of oven.. Done

Just followed the very simple video instructions…it took less than 5 minutes.

My husband removed the screws and took out the heat element and when we received the new heat element in 3 days (thank God!) My husband put the new part in the oven and replaced the screws!! Total repair time was about 5 mins!!!

Disconnected the main electrical plug from the wall for the oven..
Used a nut driver to remove the two screws that held the heating elementin place.
Pulled the element out so I could remove the two wire terminals.
Installation of the new heating element was fairly basic..Oven is working great..

i called Sears and ordered the element and they charged me 16.99 plus the part to ship the next day. after 1 week i called them and they said the part was on backorder. i then check with them each week almost a month and the part was still on back order, I asked if they could fix it faster if they came to the house, they informed me it would cost 65.00 for a repair person to see what part i needed and after that they would schedule m e for a repair when the part came in. meanwhile i could not use my oven. i happened to go on line and came up with your web site. i ordered the part and 2 days later my son installed it. my oven works great . your company is awsome.
