this bake element has two special Hex style screws, securing it in place, but a nut driver worked just as well. remove the baking racks, and then loosen the two hex screws. slowly pull the element out of the back wall and then disconnect the electric leads. reinstall by doing then the opposite action. could not have be simpler.

Must say I was dreading going to some parts house that we have in our town in bad area, and searching on dusty shelves for what I needed...am so glad I found you!!

turn off power to oven at breaker box
remove screws holding bake element in
pulls wires off old element
put wires on new element
put the screws back in
turn the power back on

The repair took less time than finding the model number. After unplugging the range and allowing it to cool I disconnected the element (2 screws), went online and found Part Select ordered the element and saved $16.00 dollars over the least expensive local shop, I was amazed at how fast the element arrived, I believe it was 4 days from order to my door. I went to my local hardware store for some new connectors for the wire, put them on and plugged in the element fastened down the two screws and went back to baking cookies. The element was well and safely packed and came in perfect condition. It works like a charm. Thank You

My husband had recently moved out of our house so I was very nervous about trying this repair myself but it was actually very easy!!I ordered the part on Monday, it arrived on Wednesday and Wednesday night I was baking dinner in the oven!!

ordered new heating element, arrived promptly as expected, compared new heating element to old one and it matched in size only diameter a little different, removed two sheet metal screws holding element in place and pulled out element to expose conductors and removed them with screwdriver. Installed conductors on new heating element slid into holes and installed screws, turned power back on(first step is to turn off power) turned on oven to preheat and she worked like a new one. I followed the instruction on the web site and the installation was just like the instruction. Very quick and easy. I was so happy and now I am baking up a storm again.

Unplugged stove, removed screws holding element In place. Pulled element forward exposing electrical ends. Removed connectors, re- connected ends to new element. Pushed element back into holes and reconnected the screws. Plug stove back in.

Simple installation took 2 minutes to do...pop on the connectors, screw each end into back of oven...DONE.

Undid 2 screw nuts holding the element to the back wall, with a 1/4" socket. Pulled off the two wires, pushed them onto the new element. Screwed the two nuts back on the rear wall. Done! Easy, worked 1st try.

unfastened clip at back of oven w/screwdriver. Pulled out the plug, unplugged the element. Plugged in new element, pushed back into place, refastened clip to hold it in place at back of oven.. Done

I watched your how to video and used my voltmeter to check my baking element. I found it defective and ordered your replacement. 5 or 6 days later it arrived in the mail. I installed it per the video and my wife baked a pizza to try it out. Perfect! Thank you.

My husband removed the screws and took out the heat element and when we received the new heat element in 3 days (thank God!) My husband put the new part in the oven and replaced the screws!! Total repair time was about 5 mins!!!

Removed old switch, moved the one wire to the same pin on new very cheaply made but expensive made in Mexico switch, replaced switch, pugged range back in too AC, operated new switch, created sparks and smoke. Element now glows to max immediately when turned on. Replaced stove problem gone!
