The new part was shipped and recieved very fast.
I removed the old one and installed the new one going by how I took the old one out. It was simple to do even for a 75 year old lady.. Thanks.

Unscrewed 2 screws, used pliers to pull off push on terminals attached to element . Slide terminals back onto new element and replaced screws. EASY

I sat on a stool and knelt on a pillow (because of my knees) but I got it done and it works great!!

The directions have been stated many time and they are quite simple. Take out the two screws, pull the element so the wire connections come through into the oven. Disconnect the element at the wire connectors and replace. This is a dirt easy job.

The only real area for a potential problem is pulling the wire connectors through into the oven. As long as you pull slow and from the back - right next to the whole, you will be fine. Take the connectors off carefully and you're golden. Easy job.

The element went out on a Wednesday. We ordered the part the next day. We received it the following Tuesday (Mon. was a holiday). My 16 yr. old son replaced the part within 15 minutes. It was a piece of cake-actually it was a pizza!!
First and foremost we turned off the breaker, a very important thing to remember!! Then he removed the two screws that hold the element in place. He then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires...and reconnected the new ones and put screws back in. Voila!! Ours was stillll under warranty, but we would have had to pay the service call and labor costs. Our do it yourself was much cheaper and faster!!

using a nut driver I removed to two screws that were holding the element in place. Then simply disconnected each wire. Removed the old element and plug the new wires onto the new element. Reinstalled the two screws and everything works fine

Very quick and easy fix. Used a nut driver to unscrew the bolts. Pulled it out and disconnected the two wires. I was very happy with the wonderful service we received from Partselect.com. I ordered the part Sunday evening and the part was here Tuesday by noon. I payed regular shipping charges. What a pleasant surprise!

ordered new heating element, arrived promptly as expected, compared new heating element to old one and it matched in size only diameter a little different, removed two sheet metal screws holding element in place and pulled out element to expose conductors and removed them with screwdriver. Installed conductors on new heating element slid into holes and installed screws, turned power back on(first step is to turn off power) turned on oven to preheat and she worked like a new one. First I gave my roommate (an engineer) a screwdriver to remove the two screws that held the element in place. Then before I could hit the switch for the circuit breaker, he nearly fried himself by trying to take out the element! He gave up helping me after that.

Then I turned off the circuit, pulled the oven out and unplugged it, removed the racks from the oven, removed the two screws that hold in the element, and lifted up each side of the element and pulled each piece out. Unfortunately, they were a little stuck in back.

So I pulled out the oven, unscrewed the 6 or 8 screws that held up the back panel, and pulled the back panel off. I disconnected the two wires clipped to the element and pulled the old element out by lifting up and pulling them out. I then put in the new bake element, clipped the wires back on, put the oven's back panel on and screwed it in place, and then screwed the bake element back in with those two screws. Easy - a

Turn off power to the stove. Unscrewed the nutholding it in place, pulled the terminals out, replaced the element by sliding the new terminals in place, replaced the nuts holding it in place and done! Turn the power back on and tested. It works again!

Very easy. Remove two screws, pull element forward, remove two wires, install wires on new element, push backward and reinstall the screws. Done!!!

Loosen 2 screw with a 1/4 nut driver. Pulled element out to expose connections. Carefully disconnected old element and replaced with new element. Pushed wires back into holes and replaced the screws. (Note: Be careful not to let the disconnected wires slip back through the holes. This almost happen to me)

It worked. I am not good with electrical circuit testing etc. even though I know it must be easy so after reading many stories here, I decided to start by replacing just the element and see if I got lucky. I did. No need to call expensive repairman.

Too dark to see, so left the power on so I cold use the oven light. Big mistake, shorted the fuse at the main box. No power in part of the house until finally figured out how to trip the fuse back on. Lesson learned. Never work on anything electrical without first turning off the power.

We called a local repair shop and they told us that it would take a month to get our part and it would cost over $50 for it. We went online and found PartSelect.com. The part was here in less than one week and it cost less than $40. My husband pulled the stove out from the wall took a screwdriver and unscrewed the screws, slipped in the new part and screwed the new screws in. It took him 15 minutes to fix it and now my stove works better than it has in many years!
