CFEF3052TSD Frigidaire Range - Instructions

I read some other's repairs from this site with similiar symptoms. Take off the back takes a couple of minutes. Turn off power at the breaker of course the range is 220 volts. Remove the 4 screws holding the clock timer. Carefully remove the clock front as not to damage it. It has a flexible glue that holds it. You may need to take a knife to get it started. Line it up and stick it on the new clock timer, there will be plenty of glue left to hold it. Remove wires one at a time and place them on the new board as you go until you have all leads changed to the new board. Put the new timer in place and insert the 4 screws that hold it.Turn it on and the clock should be flashing. Reset the clock and you should be ready to go! I turned on the oven and it worked! I saved myself a about $250 by doing it myself. $85 for a service call and whatever they would decided to mark up for the clock timer. 20 minutes start to finish. It really was an easy fix!

Removed five screws from back of range top with nut driver.Lifted wire connectors(4).Replaced old control board with new one.Replaced screws.And Bingo!The whole procedure took about 15 minutes.

After a power outage or bake and broil features stopped working, but the rest of the appliance worked fine. I wasn't sure if it was the clock part or the temp probe, but decided the cost replacing both parts was less than a repairman. So first, I watched the video link on the part's page...extremely helpful! Then it was a matter of a few screws and unplugging and re-plugging a few wires. I have NO electrical experience, and very little handy-man experience. This is a simple repair that anyone could do. I am most amazed with PartSelect because it literally took 24 hrs after placing the order for it to arrive on my doorstep. And it saved us an estimated $175 in repairman labor fees. I disconnected the power cord,took the top back plate off,the switch knob on the switch I was to change,the two screws holding it.pull the old switch out,place the new one in the holder,replaced the two screws that holds the switch and took the wires off the old switch one at a time and placed them on the new one in order on new switch.replaced the back cover and plugged power cord back in.turned range on,it was good. r taite,

I watched you vedio and done just as the vedio told me how to change the switch. When I got the switch on pluged it in turned it on and every thing work great. thank you very much.

The video was a great help. I could have replaced the switch without watching it, but it gave me confidence that I was doing it right. Everything went just like he said it would. Burner seems to work better now and no more scary noises.

Took the back off and replaced the switch for that burner. Got alittle nervous because the switch did not look the same and the connectors were labeled differently, but it worked. Lost the red light button some how during the repair so when I turned the stove on sparks came out the back because the light connector was loose so I did have to order another one of those.

replaced temp probe per your suggestion. No improvement! checked both heating elements with ohm meter. OK Next suggestion was replace circuit boards. Bought new range for less than cost of 2 oven/range control boards.

We removed the back of the stove, unscrewed switch from the stove face and unplugged the wires from the old switch. The new switch was universal so I had to follow the numbers by the prong on the old switch to determine which was the correct prong to plug the wires, plugged them in, screwed the switch back to the stove face and replaced the back Viola all fixed.

Took door apart, went online to partselect, ordered new glass, and put it back together. Oven looks like new. Makes sense to order the isolation as well when you do the repair

Timer was bad. Removed the four screws on the rear panel, and then the four screws holding the timer in place. I let the old one dangle by the wires until the new one was in place, then just switched the wires one at a time. There is one set that has a plastic connector, and you need a small flat screwdriver to depress the locking tab on the top of the connector to release it. Be sure and order a new face plate as the old one will not come off without tearing. Re-install rear cover and your done.

I thought I was going to have to purchase a new stove which I could not afford, repair man would have cost over $300 to repair. open door,throw the door latches at the hinges and remove door. Take the out of the outer panel so you can separate the glasses. remove clip that hold the outer glass in place. I ordered a replacement glass as I never thought that it would come clean it looked so bad, but it cleaned up like new so I now have a spare glass for my oven door. Just reverse the way you take it apart to put it back together.

Took off back of oven, detached old clock piece, attached new one, put back panel back, done.

After confirming that the renter had broken the timer through frustration I ordered the correct part and fixed the problem.After removing the rear panel it was obvious the timer was broken..just put wires where needed and reinstalled the new clock timer..The oven worked like new..
