after pulling away from wall and unplugging remove 5 screws in upper back panel lift off being careful of sharp edges if part of lens is still in hole push it out towards the front insert lens from front of unit slide light assy over pin on back of lens replace back panel plug in range push back against wall check for level you're done

My husband had recently moved out of our house so I was very nervous about trying this repair myself but it was actually very easy!!I ordered the part on Monday, it arrived on Wednesday and Wednesday night I was baking dinner in the oven!!

slid the old one out and slid the new one in.turned the unit on and it works

ordered new heating element, arrived promptly as expected, compared new heating element to old one and it matched in size only diameter a little different, removed two sheet metal screws holding element in place and pulled out element to expose conductors and removed them with screwdriver. Installed conductors on new heating element slid into holes and installed screws, turned power back on(first step is to turn off power) turned on oven to preheat and she worked like a new one. Removed old switch, moved the one wire to the same pin on new very cheaply made but expensive made in Mexico switch, replaced switch, pugged range back in too AC, operated new switch, created sparks and smoke. Element now glows to max immediately when turned on. Replaced stove problem gone!

My husband removed the screws and took out the heat element and when we received the new heat element in 3 days (thank God!) My husband put the new part in the oven and replaced the screws!! Total repair time was about 5 mins!!!

Disconnected the main electrical plug from the wall for the oven..
Used a nut driver to remove the two screws that held the heating elementin place.
Pulled the element out so I could remove the two wire terminals.
Installation of the new heating element was fairly basic..Oven is working great..

Unplugged oven, pulled out old element, reattached new one, making sure to be careful with wires, and put on as secure as possible, just like it was before. . . Very easy to fix

i removed the back panel removed two screws pulled the element out

Removed screws. Tried to pull out old element but spade lugs on old element were bent at ninety degree angle. Once I figured that out I was able to manouver the old element out with the attached wires. Had to be carfull that the loose wires did not slip back ijn through the hole. Reaching in over the oven door was a but diffcult, but all-in-all the jobe was done in a few minutes.

unfastened clip at back of oven w/screwdriver. Pulled out the plug, unplugged the element. Plugged in new element, pushed back into place, refastened clip to hold it in place at back of oven.. Done

Turn off the power to the range. Remove oven racks. Remove the two screws and slowly pull the element out being careful not to pull the wires off. Remove the two wires then attach them to the new element. Push the element back in place, put the screws back in, turn on the power and turn on oven to make sure the problem is fixed

1.Take no chances. Turn off power at main breaker box (Range). 2 2. 2. 2.Remove inside grills then pull damaged element forward to expose wires and screws. 3. Use nut driver or phillips screwdriver to undo both screws. 4. Remove burnt out element then replace it new one. Make sure both sides are firmly pushed onto the wire terminals before tightening screws. Replace grills. close oven door then turn breaker at breaker box on again.

Open the door and slide in the new rack.

Unplugged stove, removed screws holding element In place. Pulled element forward exposing electrical ends. Removed connectors, re- connected ends to new element. Pushed element back into holes and reconnected the screws. Plug stove back in.
