replace the cook stove's drip bowls instead of cleaning them
I removed the burners and then the older drip bowls of the cook stove--and then I put on the new drip bowls and put back on the burners. My mechanical skills were sufficient for the replacement of the drip bowls.

new drip bowl fit perfectly and was a snap to install.

The drip pans needed replacing.
Put in the new drip pan -- which are really nice shiny ones.

Dirty drip bowls
Just remove old bowls from range top and put new ones. That is all ... just super simple! :)

needed a new drip bowl and couldn't find ons that fit exactly but you had it

Surface burner block corroded
It was a very easy fix. I followed the instructions that came with the kit and cut the original cable. Everything you need is in the kit; very few parts. Piece of cake and saved a lot of money an appliance repair person would have charged. This burner works better than the rest. I'm seriously considering replacing the other three blocks.

burner would not heat up the connection was bad
loosened the screw holding the block pulled it out toget to wire cut it about 4 inches long followed the inst.with block kit and it was a breeze. burner working fine now should have did it sooner.

oven burner element blew out
pulled out stove and disconected power. removed back panel and disconected wires and pulled element out from front of oven and installed new element.this stove is thirty years old. P.S. part was orderd thursday afternoon and it arrived the very next day. BEST SHIPPING SERVICE EVER and this was the week before christmas.

Oven lower element
Description of the element indicated that it would work for the oven burner. However, it obviously was meant for the broiler element. I had to remove the thin metal piece with the attachment holes in it (the holes didn't match the holes in the back of the oven). To install I had to drill two holes in the remaining attachment flange to match the holes on the back of the oven. Then I made three metal supports out of sheet metal to hold the element up approximately 1 1/2" off of the bottom of the oven. Just thankful to find one that I could make work. Oven works fine now. I needed to replace to two 8* drip bowls on the kitchen range
(a) I took out (and threw away) two stained 8* chrome drip bowls on my kitchen range; (b) ti put in two new 8" chrome drip bowls on my kitchen range. I'm pleased that I was equal to the task.

Old dirty drip pans
Removed heating element, installed new drip pan, replaced heating element. Was amazed at fast delivery - ordered in afternoon, arrived fed ex next morning!

Burner keep coming on and going off had a short in burner plug-in block.
Turned off stove breaker. Unscrewed burner from stove top, took out burner and spill pan. Lifted top of stove, cut the wire as instructed and put all parts together as instructed. Placed everything back together as instructed. I did it myself!

Burner not working
I took the burner out of the box and snapped it into the slots on the stove, turned on the stove and made dinner! By the way, I received it in 2 days, which was great. Burner was slow heating at times. Moved back burner to front still same thing.
Unscrewed screw holding bracket. Used side cutters to cut wires. Replaced the bracket, put the shrink wrap on wires, twisted wires together and held with wire caps. Shrunk the wrap with lighter. I'm a 67 year old female.. No problems.
