Oven wouldn'theat, broiler didn't work, always going into sabbath mode
I removed the cover plates on the back of the range since I didn't know where the m1/m2 module was located. I traced the wiring back to the clock and timer module in the console. I ordered the replacement part and it came the next day by FedEx. I replaced the failed part and every thing works except the oven. I have to get a meter to find out if I have voltage at the oven gas valve or if the part 74009227 is faulty.

The oven would not come on at all.
First i turned off the gas and unpluged the electric to the stove. I removed the gas line and the screws that held the housing of the hood and valve assembly .Then i unplug 4 wires that operated the safety valveon the gas.Unthreaded 2 lines ,one for the oven and the other one for the boiler.I then replace the new hood and valve kit and put everything back together and the oven works just fine.

My wife dropped a cast iron dish on the door while it was open, bent the hinges, so it would not close properly.
It was really easy, just lift the door off from the range, I set it down on the box that the hinges came in, took the six screws out to release the front fascia of the door from the back, hinges are right there, un-screw and install the new hinges, put everything back together in reverse and lift the door back on to the range, less than 10 minutes!

Oven would not maintain temperature
So simple! I really had no idea what the problem was. I found the PartsSelect site, read the comments from fellow Maytag double oven owners, diagnosed the problem as the sensor and ordered the part. It arrived in only two days! We removed the back of the stove, pulled the old sensor through, plugged the new one in and YAY the oven is like new. I have to admit most of the repair time involved sweeping up the dog hair that had accumulated under the stove.

Just unscred the 2 screw on the Thermometer
Unplugged the stove and unscrew the 2 screws on the thermometer inside the stove and unplugged the white plastic in the back of the stove and I had to put the new extra piece that came with the sensor kit as it was needed because the socket were different.

needed new oven light assembly/part #PS1864256
Removed old assembly, attached wires to new and inserted into space for same. Of course you must turn off the range circuit breaker. The part that took the most time was removing the old assembly. Once that was done, the rest took only a few minutes.

Inner glass pane broke during self-cleaning operation
I removed all the screws that held the trim and inner frame to the outside window unit first. Then, I removed a protective glass from over the two inner panes. Next after removing the frame that held the two inner glass panes together, I took the broken inner glass pane out and replaced it with the new one. Then basically I just retraced my steps and had the door put back together in about 45 minutes. You just need to pay close attention to your disassembly so that you are able to put the pieces back together quickly.

Shattered inside glass when attempted to self-clean
Door was removed very easily. Outside trim pieces were removed. The rest came apart like a simple puzzle. Inside glass is very easily accessed. Upon assembling, time was well under an hour. Shipping was fantastic and I saved close to 200dollars between a service call and a repair.
