The power had gone out and must have sent a surge that fried the ERC. I didn't know that but looked up the "F1" error code that was displayed on the screen online. Once I knew what part to replace it was easy. I just searched out the part on this site and ordered it. I ordered it on a Tuesday
First I unplugged the unit. I removed 4 screws to remove the back plate. Removed 4 screws to remove the ERC unit. ( Plastic casing and all) Peeled the front cover off the old unit and stuck it on the new. Removed one wire at a time and plugged it into the new so I didn't mess up the wiring. screwed my 8 screws back in, plugged it in, and started cooking.

Top oven door trim became discolored from oven heat. Made of white plastic. Had to renew the top trim.
Opened the oven door, removed three screws holding trim to door, and removed trim piece.Installed new trim using the 3 screws. Looks good as new. Part was easy to find on Parts Direct using their illustrations of the Maytag stove.

drawer wheel completely worn out
A Home Depot employee advised me on how to enter all my oven information found on the front of my oven on parts.com. I submitted parts information as stated, also very easy. My parts arrived 3 days later. I used a screwdriver & pliers, it took less than 15 minutes. Very simple and the entire process from order to installation went like clockwork. I would definitely order in the future. Thank you.

No power to the stove
The repair was easy. I removed the 4 screws to the upper rear cover in the back of oven then unscrewed the 4 screws holding the ERC, Elec Conv-Geneses and undid the 6 color wire conects and the 4 wire plugin. The color wires are labled on diagram and on part. Replaced the divice and reconnected it the same way it in reverse.
However that was not the problem. There was nothing wrong with my ERC, ELEC CONV-GENESIS. I did not check the power to the circuit.
I just figured that it was getting power since the indicator lights were working. One of the 240 circuit
of the circuit breaker was bad (burned out). I turned off the main and replaced the circuit breaker. Works fine now. One learns by there mistakes. Hope this helps...
O by the way I thought I would keep the part just in case I might need it in the future as a backup.

Had to replace a rubber whee that was part of one of the drawer slides.
I was surprised when I was able to find that the (10 year old) parts for one of the drawer slides of my stove were still available. However, I was disappointed that the small bolt that I ordered did not come with a nut. I was lucky to find one in a collection of nuts in my workshop, and so was able to fix the slide. However, I suggest that if you supply someone with a bolt, that you include the nut that is necessary to make it work.
