A3637XRW Admiral Range - Instructions

I watched the video on the web site and it worked like a dream. Two screws to take out - disconnect wires put back connecting wires and replace the screws again. Just like the video. Thanks

Removed front panel of range, removed switch (2 screws), unclipped wires from back of existing switch. Installed new switch - reverse order of above.

Chose rubber flexible gasket with metal tabs. cut to size. unscrewed metal bracket on inside oven edge on 3 sides, slipped metal tabs between oven and metal and screwed back in. Done! Not a perfect fit but pretty good - better than no gasket.

Went online to find replacement part. (Because I’m cheap) Came across the website, found the part by model number, and watched the wonderful replacement video that was right on the same page as the part. After the part arrived, (in just a couple of days) I put the new one in. Only took a couple of minutes! Perfection! Thanks for making my problem, no problem at all!

I got the run around about my HARWICK stove at several part stores. Like they all said the same thing (cant look it up just bring it down) So i did and then they would say, what's the model number. ERR! SO my wife found parts select on the web and they beat the three price quotes I got. First turn the power off to the stove!!! The repair was simple. Just remove the two screws on both side's and pull the element out but just enough for the wire's to show. Disconnect the two wire's and pull the element out. Reverse the processes but when wire's are reconnected squeeze terminals end gently to ensure a good connection. This is a great company to deal with, I will be using them again. simply took off smooth surface top flipped it upsde down on a towel. unbolted the entire burner assembly. matched connections with the new burner with limit switch. replaced smooth surface top plugged it in. no problems. extremely easy fix no repair charges.

I took the broiler pan out of the shipping container and put it in the oven.

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out aobut 3 inches and disconnected the wires.

switch off the range. undo the two screws & unplug the two tabs. Replace with new element, connect two tabs, screw back in place. done!

I let my husband to the work...But it was very easy. I could have done it! He removed the screws, pulled the wires off previous element. Reattached the wires to the new element and screwed the ends back in place.

Pulled range out from cabinet-wall to get to back side, everthing was clearly exposed tlhen. Just a matter of installing new fixture, putting back on, reconnected power source - put range back in proper place.

Removed the old element by removing 2 screws and disconnecting two solderless connectors. One solderless connector was melted in two. I had to remove the rear panel and cut the old connector off and crimped on a new solderless connector. The time required was lengthened due to trip to the hardware store to get a new connector. While I was fixing the oven element my wife replaced the oven light.

Turned off all power to range.
Removed two Philip head screws
Gentle pulled unit Element forward
Removed two push on connectors
(Do not let wires fall back into oven holes)

Reversed the process.

My husband has moved out of state for his job. I am left here with the children until the house sells. This is the first time I have ever had to do any oven repair. I had excellent and fast service - my part came right away. I took out the 2 screws holding the element in place, pulled the element out, disconnected the old element, connected the new one, pushed it back in, and replaced the screws. No problem at all. I was a little nervous turning it all back on, but it is working perfectly!

Unplugged stove, unscrewed element pulled element out about 3 inces and disconnected element. Took model of stove looked on line for part. PartSelect had the best price and easiest web site to order part. Ordered part about 4pm and received part in 2 days. Took element out of box plug into connections and screwed the element back in. Plugged stove in and worked perfect.
