removed burner and recepticle and replaced new one. You don't have any place to comment on service, so I'll put it here. I talked to Herb and ordered parts with him on a Monday afternoon. He was very helpful. The part came Thursday about noon and I immediatly installed parts and my wife cooked supper (thats southern for the evening meal) that night. A really wonderful experience. Thank's Herb.

Turned off power at breaker. Removed screws holding control knobs in position. Removed knob and unscrewed nut holding switch in place. Noted wire positions and undid connections. Connected wires to new unit. Replaced nut and screws and control knob. Restored power and checked operation. You can do this. Don't call an electrician.

Our stove is from 1978 and was missing all but one drip bowl. I bought all the replacement parts from all the store, (Walmart, Target, Fred Meyer) nothing fit. I finally found this site and they fit perfectly! Thank you. If I have to keep the stove a while longer at least it looks clean and new now, and it still works great!

Probably a good idea to either unplug unit or make sure oven is in off position first, then remove screw on either side of old bake element, then gently pull out about 3 inches to expose wire connections and carefully disconnect each slide-on connector. Dispose old element in trash and replace with new one from partselect.com in reverse order. Very simple and much less expensive than either buying a new appliance(if you've been satisfied with what you have), paying a repairperson to come in and/or trying to hunt down the right part from a "local" appliance store/warehouse. The part was easily identifiable via the graphic depiction on the partselect.com website, arrived in excellent condition and in record time for normal ground shipping(less than 2 days from order date!), and I experienced kind and competent customer service from the get-go. A do-it-yourselfer like me really can't ask much more than that when it comes to appliance repair!

Unplugged old burner element, plugged in new element.

Open the oven door and removed a metal screw from each side of the element on the rear wall of the oven. Pull each side of the element out about 2-3 inches and you should see the terminal fitting with a spade type connector. Remove the connector from each side and discard the old element. Place the connectors on your new element and push it through the openings that the old element came out of. Replace each of the metal screws and you are done.

The 15-year-old Jen-Air stove started smelling really bad. I thought it was a dead animal stuck in the exhaust tube which runs under the floor to the outside. I flushed it out with clorine bleach, but it was still bad. It turned out to the be the grease filter. I washed it every week in the diswasher, but it just was not enough to get it clean enough. Finally, the grease went rancid and smelled really bad. This "repair" took about 30 seconds.

1. Shut the breaker off; Jenn-Air's design will have you working around hot leads if you don't.
2. Raise the control panel
3. Remove burner and unscrew the burner connector; trace the wires back to the control panel bottom and remove them
4. On the replacement connector, add the electrical for the control panel. These are not included and can be found at any hardware store; they are a standard size.
5. Connect the new wires and put everything back together.
6. Reset the break and test.

Only two screws to remove, so it was very easy to just pull the element out, remove the wire connectors from the old element and place on the new one. This is one repair you should NEVER call a service person for! Be brave--anyone can do this.

Very easy just had to pull the wire up that holds it secure.

Very simple. Removed oven rack that had melted residue on it and replaced it with the new one from your company. I want to tell you that the delivery service I received was just geat. Took less than 48 hours to arrive at my home from the time I placed the order on line. Keep up the good work and I will be happy to share my experience with those in need of you services. Thanks. took the screws out and then put the new element in and that was all.

First I cut the breaker to the oven. Then pulled racks out of oven. Then used my nut driver to take the two screws of the back mounts. I then pulled the broken part out and installed the new one. I was not sure at all about doing this until I read some of your other testemonies, but after that, I became an oven repairman. The very next day after instalation, my wife cooked me a ham and a pan of cornbread! Thanks for the fast service, y'all got me back to eating my wifes homemade dinners within three days of ordering my part. There is no way to thank you for that, but here is a very large THANK YOU! I will definitely be back(hopefully not soon!) when I need other appliance parts.

Did not need tools for this job. Simply lift burner element and remove old drip pan and put new one in its place. However - the drip pans that were shipped only fit on the left side of the range. The right side, where the grill attachment goes, is so shallow that the drip pans on that side hit the bottom plate beneath the burner element and would not let the element go down far enough to seat properly. I kept the two pans that don't fit for extras, but I still need shallower pans to fit on the right side.

This was so easy. I've looked for years in stores for these pans. I finally tried the Internet, found PartSelects and, holding my breath at what i'd find, voila'...perfect fit, perfect replacements. And it took just a couple days to arrive. I'll definately be back!
