MH6130XEB0 Whirlpool Microwave - Instructions

Remove from cabinetry, take cover off and had a very difficult time removing the plastic form that has the switched in. Replace the lowest of all the switches, and then again very difficult time getting the plastic form back in. Some of the plastic even broke during the process but not any that could prevent it from working as it did before. I had ordered a fuse, 2 packs of 2 switches as there are 3 switches but only had to use 1 to get it working again. Tested after switch install, put the cover back on and reinstalled in the cabinet.

The replacement took about five minutes and the only tool require was a Philips screwdriver. I just removed the old one and slipped in the new part. The replacement vent grille sent by PartSelect was a perfect fit.

My microwave vent grill broke from age. Ordered the new vent, which came with clips. I installed it in about 10 minutes.

You need a philips head screwdriver to remove the two screws at the top of the microwave, freeing the old snapped off clips. The new grille does come with the clips already installed, which I hadn't been sure of, since you can't buy the clips by themselves. Let me reassure you if you're wondering too. Snap the new grille in, tighten down with the screws from the top, and I was done. Took me seven minutes.

First I removed the panel covering the fan exhaust area by removing the 4 screws on top of unit. Lifted off the old door and set new door in place. Replaced the panel by using the aforementioned 4 screws.
Definitely easy to do.

Unscrewed glass panel, removed old bulb, cleaned glass panel and installed new bulb. Screwed panel back into place.

Removed one screw lowered glass cover removed burned out bulb replaced with new one put glass back reinstalled screw. Dune 5 minutes back in business

The problem I have with changing the bulb is my microwave is an overhead one and therefore I cannot tip it on its side to easily replace the bulb. I have to drop the lid down and carefully install the new bulb from underneath.

OMG! I wish everything in life were so easy.....The cooking tray of our 15 year old microwave cracked and I swore it'd be impossible to find a replacement. Kept the screws from the old part. Simply slide the new grille in place and screw in the two holding screws!

Went on very easy

All the electrics worked on Amana microwave EXCEPT for the cooking function. Inspected the control board and found the upper switch on the door interlock was burnt. Installed new switch in minutes and everything now works fine. Unfortunately, had to purchase expensive two switch "kit" although only one switch was kaput. PartsSelect mailing was SUPER fast. You had alerted that it was imperative to unplug unit before starting to remove defective bulb. As described, there was silicon on bulb and socket and bulb broke upon my attempt to remove. Had to use needle nose pliers to get metal base of old bulb from socket, then all went well.

My wife was pushing a few buttons with her knuckle (hands were full)and the microwave just turned off. Just like we had blown a breaker. First I unpluged it. Then I removed the phillips screws of the front panel, and found and removed the ceramic fuse. 3 days later I received the new fuse in the mail, and put it in. I plugged the microwave back in and it works great.
