Burned out lightbulb
First let me say that I tried several places to get what I thought was a simple light bulb. This included several national hardware stores as well as a national electrical supply company. No luck. Went to the manual and PartSelect. Not only did you have it in stock, ship right away,at a reasonable price it arrived in a matter of days. One would not normally think of receiving a "how to" video to change a light bulb but you did. That impressed me. Broken Vent Grill
My daugher used the vent grill on the microwave as a handhold while putting dishes away in the cupboard and broke it. I found the part via the Whirlpool website. When the part arrived I removed the two screws, placed the new vent grill in place and replaced the screws. Total time: About 10 minutes.

Bulb burned out
You had alerted that it was imperative to unplug unit before starting to remove defective bulb. As described, there was silicon on bulb and socket and bulb broke upon my attempt to remove. Had to use needle nose pliers to get metal base of old bulb from socket, then all went well.

Hood Light Blows Out Bulbs Often
Had to take all the screws out of the bottom of the microwave to get to the socket. Once that was done, it was a simple fix of taking out 2 screws that hold the socket in, and then unplugging it. Replug and put all screws back. It was a fairly simple fix for the diy homeowner.
