MH6130XEQ1 Whirlpool Microwave - Instructions

Remove from cabinetry, take cover off and had a very difficult time removing the plastic form that has the switched in. Replace the lowest of all the switches, and then again very difficult time getting the plastic form back in. Some of the plastic even broke during the process but not any that could prevent it from working as it did before. I had ordered a fuse, 2 packs of 2 switches as there are 3 switches but only had to use 1 to get it working again. Tested after switch install, put the cover back on and reinstalled in the cabinet.

My microwave vent grill broke from age. Ordered the new vent, which came with clips. I installed it in about 10 minutes.

You need a philips head screwdriver to remove the two screws at the top of the microwave, freeing the old snapped off clips. The new grille does come with the clips already installed, which I hadn't been sure of, since you can't buy the clips by themselves. Let me reassure you if you're wondering too. Snap the new grille in, tighten down with the screws from the top, and I was done. Took me seven minutes.

The replacement took about five minutes and the only tool require was a Philips screwdriver. I just removed the old one and slipped in the new part. The replacement vent grille sent by PartSelect was a perfect fit.

Unscrewed glass panel, removed old bulb, cleaned glass panel and installed new bulb. Screwed panel back into place.

Removed one screw lowered glass cover removed burned out bulb replaced with new one put glass back reinstalled screw. Dune 5 minutes back in business

I received my glass cooking tray so fast but when I try to put in the microwave did't fix was to big,I call you today to return and very nice lady help me and told me I need to call whirlpool and explain them and already order again thank so much for all your help you have very nice people in customer service. First let me say that I tried several places to get what I thought was a simple light bulb. This included several national hardware stores as well as a national electrical supply company. No luck. Went to the manual and PartSelect. Not only did you have it in stock, ship right away,at a reasonable price it arrived in a matter of days. One would not normally think of receiving a "how to" video to change a light bulb but you did. That impressed me. I bought the stir cover replacement (package comes with 2) and two rivits (didn't fit). I pulled off the original cover and pulled out the rivits (easy peazy). The stir cover fit perfectly but the rivits were too big (and I tried everything to get them in but destroyed them in the process) so had to reuse the original rivits (thank heavens they didn't break). It took me more time because of the oversized rivits but the microwave worked great now.

remove 4 screws from top, front louvered panel snaps out. remove 1 screw from top of keypad, keypad pivot's forward and can be removed. There is a white mounting bracket inside left. Remove two screws, one top and one bottom, bracket lifts up and out. 3 sets wires are attached, mark them with masking tape, top, center, bottom and pull out plugs. They can only attach one way. Using a very small screw tip, lift plastic latch from switch, it rotates out and is removed from the pivot pin. reassemble in reverse order after switches are replaced

I didn't do the repair -- my husband did, said it was easy, had no problems what so ever! The new bulbs give a lot more light to the cooking area.

Removed the glass cover and replaced the bulb. Very simple.

Replaced the diode (aka wire-vltge) in the HV circuit after removing cabinet cover using both the secure torx screw drvr & phillips head screw drvr. The hardest part of the job was finding the secure torx nut drvr tool on the internet & purchasing same.

OMG! I wish everything in life were so easy.....The cooking tray of our 15 year old microwave cracked and I swore it'd be impossible to find a replacement.
