When I pushed the latch button I heard a crack sound. The button was no longer working after that. Therefore, I could not open the door.
The hardest part was taking it down from the range hood stand. Without being able to open the door, the glass carousel was moving around. We removed about 7 screws. Luckily we had the special type of allen wrenches (ones with a hole in the middle). It was easy to see what had broke and that it would not be fixable. We tied fishing line to the door hooks so that we could use the oven until the part came in. When I seached the internet and logged onto your site, keyed in the model # and the item I needed was the first item with a picture. I was absolutely sure it was the right part. The price seemed high, but I checked with our local applicance where I bought the oven and it would be the same cost from them and they have always be reasonable. Ordered the part, arrived within 2-3 days and it took only 30 minutes to install. You need to press down on the side of the part (spring loaded) to pop it in place. Helpful to turn the oven on its side to get leverage. Just go slow as the part is plastic. I will use your site again. Thanks.

Small plastic Wheel kept falling off turntable on microwave.
I tried to fix the wheel but the plastic hub had worn too small. After messing with it for a month, I ordered the support ring with 3 wheels from this site. this site said it would fit many brands of microwaves. I was glad I ordered it. It was very affordable and is better than the original. The replacement part is made with heavier duty material than the original and it works perfect. I picked up the microwave plate and grabbed the old one and threw it in the recycle bin and put the new turntable support under the plate, put the plate back on top and closed the door!! Works perfect! Even a novice can do this repair!!

Fan motor and magnetron did not come on, but every thing else did.
Problem would come and go. Found service schematic inside unit. Perform all the suggested tests. One possible solution was the primary interlock switch shown on the schematic and a check found the switch stuck. It would free up some times but would stick again in the open position. Ordered switch which was a simple plug in unit.

Glass tray broke for some unknown reason.
Make sure to have your model number correct. First tray I purchased I didn't use the model number and just picked what I thought would work (KitchenAid), but didn't. Second attempt I put in the model number and received the correct one. Take out of the box and into the oven, that easy.

Needed to push door up to run appliance.
1. Removed cabinet screws (10-15?). 2. Removed cabinet. 3. Removed top interlock switch which actually was not defective. The press clip connection appeared as if it had been arcing for quite some time and the corrosion created resistance sufficient to prevent the current from getting through the switch. 4. Replaced switch anyway but broke plastic retaining clip despite every effort not to do so. Reset broken clip with super glue. 5. Reassembled cabinet and appliance is in good working condition.

Door would not open
I removed screws from the cover, then I removed the screws holding on the front panel. I then unplugged the connectors, and removed the front panel and broken door latch. Then all I needed to do was slide the new door latch in the spot where the broken one was and put it back together. The only thing to note is which way the yellow and white and the blue and white connectors are on the front plate (location and wire direction). All is working well, and I can open the door again. Needless to say I feel better about repairing the microwave rather then throwing it out getting another one and creating more electronic garbage in a landfill .

The Brkt-Latch Was Broken And Would Not Allow You To Open The Door.
I had to remove the housing cover that had about 8 tamper proof screws in order to remove the cover and get into the area where the brkt-latch was. I removed the broken latch found the part I needed on your website, within a few days the part arrived. It took only a few minutes to reinstall the new part and housing cover. Everything works just fine. My guess is we saved $200 from having our local repair service center to do the same job.

The plastic door latch broke on our microwave.
1. Removed exterior cabinet using vice grips to grab the heads of the screws.

2. Removed old broken latch.

3. Snapped the new latch into place. Be careful spreading the two brackets that receive the latch so that they don't break.

4. Re-install exterior.

Broken Door Latch
I removed the microwave from its built-in position by removing the faceplace. This was a simple four phillips screw removal. I then removed the microwave and the rear housing. This required the special TORX T20 security star screwdriver. Once the main microwave housing was removed the broken latch was apparent and easily accessible. The longest part of this process was getting the security star driver and ordering the part. It literally took sixty seconds to replace the part. Another three minutes to replace the housing and Another five minutes to put the microwave back in place. This was an easy repair and saved me about $400 in replacement costs.I am very satisfied with the ease of determining the part I needed on the website, the cost of the part, the shipping was timely, and the overall experience by far surpassed my expectations. I am by no means a handy person but the instruction and detail associated with the purchase gave me the confidence and knowledge needed to complete the task.

Microwave slowly stopped heating food
Initially we started looking to buy a replacement microwave to replace our 13+ year old built-in microwave. It was a real pain finding a replacement to fit the exact dimensions. So I thought I'd try to find an old KitchenAid microwave. However, I was pleasantly surprised when this site came up on my search. Their website allows me to input the problems and then it showed two possible parts that needed to be replaced. I emailed tech support and asked them which part I needed. They responded very quickly and said I needed to replace the magnetron. I watched a couple YouTube videos and then pulled my microwave apart. It was incredibly easy to pull the outer cover off. The magnetron had 5 screws that needed to be removed and one electrical plug. Took me maybe 10 min to complete the entire repair. It was one of the easiest repairs I've done and so thankful for this site They saved me a ton of money from not buying a new microwave and we now have our microwave working again. In hindsight, I wouldn't hesitate. I'd order the Part now and get it fixed.

Door opening mechanism failed suddenly
Although the housing cover of the microwave had the "tamper-proof screws" described by earlier commenters, I easily removed them with pliers rather than a special screwdriver. Like others, I found that one of the two hinge posts on the plastic Door Latch Bracket had broken off. The broken bracket could be removed easily, but I had trouble fitting the blade of the replacement part into position until I loosened one more screw on the receiving latch board to allow extra maneuvering room. Only then did both hinge posts fit into their proper mounts and snap in easily.
