Approximately 5 seconds into heating something, the microwave went dead
It literally took me longer to unpackage the fuse than to install it. I removed the outer shell by unscrewing the five screws, lifted it off and set it aside. The old fuse was readily visible so I pulled it out and put the new one in its place. I set the shell back on and replaced the screws. I plugged it in and ran it for 30 seconds while still in the shop just to make sure that solved the problem and presto - it worked like a charm. A $20 part saved me from having to purchase a new microwave (sadly, I had to break the news to the wife).

Old filters were beyond cleaning
Simply removed front of Microwave, removed the old charcoal filer and inserted the new one. On the grease filters, removed both of them from bottom of microwave and slid the new ones in place. That's all there was to it. No tools required.

Outside of cabinet got hot & food inside of microwave did not get cooked
Replaced the diode (aka wire-vltge) in the HV circuit after removing cabinet cover using both the secure torx screw drvr & phillips head screw drvr. The hardest part of the job was finding the secure torx nut drvr tool on the internet & purchasing same.

Microwave worked intermittently
The door was not engaging the micro switches properly no doubt from 10+ years of wear. The upper switch removed fairly easily but take care not to tweak the plastic brace too much or it will snap. The lower one was the tricky one. After much examination I noticed that the trick to remove it was underneath the brace. Take a butter knife (no joke) and insert it just under the old micro switch and gently press down twisting the micro switch every so slightly til it releases. The replacements snap back in with no trouble. The microwave is working much better now, though not perfect.

Replace old parts
remove one screw from light and remove bulbs replace. I found the light plate had a lot of grease on rubber type washer for the glass cover. I cleaned it as best I could. The real trick was putting the screw back in when the Microwave is in with the hood Fan and the screw must go straight up and not miss the hole. I had someone hold the plate up and the screw went in. Your instruction book shows your filters and how to clean them. They are easy to and clean. What I found best is the lights they had been in for 15 years and the new ones are so much brighter. I now have an old set of filters that can be put in the dishwasher and used as a replacement when the new ones need to be cleaned.

stir cover had a burn hole and caused microwave to arc when in use.
I bought the stir cover replacement (package comes with 2) and two rivits (didn't fit). I pulled off the original cover and pulled out the rivits (easy peazy). The stir cover fit perfectly but the rivits were too big (and I tried everything to get them in but destroyed them in the process) so had to reuse the original rivits (thank heavens they didn't break). It took me more time because of the oversized rivits but the microwave worked great now.
