tab was broken off when changing bulb
removed old cover to lamp and reinstalled the new one by unscrewing one screw and screwing the new one back in

Backing plate which secures handle was broken
Removed old plate with screwdriver an installed newly purchased part.

Light bulb burned out
I unscrewed the light cover, removed the burned out light bulb and replaced it with one I ordered on Partselect.com. It was very easy.
