the original part had fallen off and broke when it hit the floor.
Removed two screws to that held the old bracket. Installed new part and replaced the screws. Very simple. About 10 minutes. The part cost about $38.00. A repairman charged my neighbor 100 + dollars for the part and plus installation for the exact same thing. I highly recommend Partselect.

Cracked Face On Microwave
Unscrewed three screws and used putty knife to pry door cover off unscrew door handle put on new face plate and redo the three screws and clip back on oh you have to unclip the glass part and put on to the new face plate before putting on new door front to microwave

Dropped the glass cooking tray and it broke in half
Looked up the Whirlpool Co. and ordered the part. It was quite simple. Arrived in 2 days and I simply placed it in the microware. It was very very easy!

door got cracked when we remodeled our kitchen
I removed the two screws on the side. Took a putty knife and gently pryed it away from the rest of the door. I took the handle off the old door and put it on the new door. I took the glass and the plastic frame that holds it on off the old door and put it in the new door, I snapped the new door back on and relaced the screws.

The grill vent kept falling off.
I loosened the 2 screws at the top, removed the broken-off pieces of the old part, then easily placed the new part and tightened the screws.
The whole process was so easy! It was easy to order the part. It came directly to the house in just a few days.

The grill vents lock in tabs were broken off and the grill could not be kept in place

Microwave turns on but did not heat
Loosened but did not remove screws that held up microwave over range,removed grill on top by loosening screws that held grill in place.removed small mesh grill on right side of microwave, this gave me access to capacitor ,diode is connected from one lead of capacitor to a metal plate ground,Disccarged capacitor to ground by shorting terminals to ground using a thick insulated screwdriver.Since the diode was screwed to the top of the metal plate I cut it out with a pair of side cutters .I then connected the new diode to the capacitor with my long nose pliers and groonded the other end to a more accessible part of the metal grounding plate.I then replaced all parts in reverse order.Works like a charm.

machine was dead.
After removing the over-the-range unit (no small feat!) I had to figure out how to open the case (good puzzle!). Capacitor had already discharged, so it was very easy to reach in, pop the old fuse and install the new one! As per your advice, I found out I was a "28%-er"! Upon re-installation, the microwave "sprang to life"!! Thanks, "Part Select"!! I was already shopping around for a new machine! (Now if you could only tell me an easier way to re-mount this heavy beast over the stove!!!)

glass turn table cracked needed a new one

One of the wheels came off
Took out turntable and swapped out old one with a new bright and shiny

On-door water/ice dispenser lights failed, paddles did not work to dispense
It took me time to remove the parts and suss out the issue, but the repair itself was EASY. A wire ribbon connected to the circuit board had gone bad. One Phillips head screwdriver, 7 screws, to get at the old one, pull it out, replace it with the newly ordered part. NO PROBLEM. Ladies, you can do IT!! You have the power!

Turntable did not work
Ordered a new motor. Removed the outside trim of the oven-microwave combo. 2 screws at the bottom of the trim. Removed the screws that held the combination micro and oven unit in place. Removed the top and bottom black plastic grill of the microwave. 3 screws each. Pulled the entire unit out about 1 inch exposing the screws at each side of the microwave that hold it in place.
Snapped off the top control panel which exposed the wiring connecting the control panel.
Unplugged a couple of wire harness units to free the control panel.
Be sure to label the units to know which goes where during reassembly.
Remove the microwave unit from the housing and place it on its side.
Remove the metal plate that houses the motor. 4 screws hold the motor in place. Disconnect the 2 wires from the old motor and you are ready to install the new motor. Be sure to TURN OFF THE POWER to the unit at the breaker box and remove the turntable from inside the microwave.
Snapped off the top control panel which exposed the wiring connecting the control panel.
Unplugged a couple of wire harness units to free the control panel.
Be sure to label the units to know which goes where during reassembly.

Very unusual. we had a brief fire inside the microwave which destroyed all the moving rotary parts.
First, we had to clean up all the interior surfaces, which was just cleaning. There was no internal damage. Then, just setting the center connector, rotary rollers and glass plate. Simple

Drive coupling cracked would no longer rotate turntable plate
used screw driver to pry up old part. lifted right off. line up drive couple drive push on. repair took less than 1 minute to repair. works like new
