The microwave door would not stay latched, so it wouldn't come on.
The repair was easy, I just took off a few screws and found the broken latch spring. The real story is how easy it was to find the replacement spring from Partselect! I couldn't believe they had it, and even better yet, I ordered it one afternoon, and it came the next day with normal shipping! Unbelievable! Then I just popped it in and replaced the covers I had removed and it was working again!

The glass tray in the microwave got chipped while i was washing it and started to crack.
I just opened the box and set it in. Took all of two minutes.

Bulb burned out
You had alerted that it was imperative to unplug unit before starting to remove defective bulb. As described, there was silicon on bulb and socket and bulb broke upon my attempt to remove. Had to use needle nose pliers to get metal base of old bulb from socket, then all went well.

The old grill cover fell off and broke.

Broken Vent Grille

Missing bracket for mounting microwave oven
Attached bracket to wall with screws and hung microwave oven. Very easy project.

Mounting Screw Tabs broke and grill falls off
Remove the screws from the unit metal tabs. Insert two locator tabs of the grill into the slits in the unit and install the two mounting screws. SIMPLE

Vent grille fell off the microwave
I noticed on some of the installation instructions provided by others that numerous individuals have experienced the same problem. I decided to try to lengthen the life of my repair and so I added an aluminum screen patch and some expoxy glue to the tabs that hold the screws. I figured that this might provide some additional strength to the grille and hopefully I wouldn't have to repair it again. Time will tell if this modification will be successful.

Burned out lightbulb
First let me say that I tried several places to get what I thought was a simple light bulb. This included several national hardware stores as well as a national electrical supply company. No luck. Went to the manual and PartSelect. Not only did you have it in stock, ship right away,at a reasonable price it arrived in a matter of days. One would not normally think of receiving a "how to" video to change a light bulb but you did. That impressed me. Vent grill sttachment points were brokek off...a VERY poor drsign with a weak material(I used to be in the plastic molding business)
Took out the screws and replaced the vent. (here is a trick, to make getting the screws in a rather hard to reach area I glued them to the end of the screwdriver-super glue)
