Light worked, timer and control pad worked, but no turntable, no heat, no noises of any sort, just didn't start up
It was a snap using the instructions given. The key is getting into the unit. I did have to use a multimeter to find the failed switch since there are two of that type.

The door handle broke
We separated the inside of the microwave door from the outside in order to get to the screws. This was the most difficult part of the repair. We got the directions on how to do this from the internet. We did not find the screws too long because there were spacers with the original screws. We found the top spacer put in backwards because the original screws were shorter. After putting the spacer in correctly the screws that came with new part were fine.

Door handle broken
Pried off the inside of the cover, removed the broken handle with ease. When I went to screw in the new handle, I couldn't get the new screws to tighten. Turned out they were too long, so I had to use the screws from the old handle. After I figured that out, I was finished rather quickly.

had a problem getting the top screw in the handle, kept trying to strip the head of screw
took the inside strip off the door with a thin knife, then removed the screws from old handle parts left on door. took a little while to tighten the toop screew, which I had to leave loose. it works and looks very good.
