Original door handle broke off
I read some of the previous blogs on same problem. Followed same steps others took before me and I was done in 5 minutes! Opened the microwave door. Removed the top screw that was visible and then removed the ring around inside door frame by using a simple butter knife to get it going carefully. Removed the hidden screw on bottom of door . Replaced Handle, screwed in top and bottom , attached plastic seal around door by snapping it back in place. Done

Under the microwave there are two light bulbs that light up the top of the oven/range.
Last week I removed the glass cover that was held in by one screw and removed the burnt out light bulb. I ordered the bulb and left the glass cover off until the bulb arrived. I had to wait until this evening to put the glass cover back on and fasten the screw because I have a window right next to the oven and the sun streaming in made it too difficult for me to see how to put the glass back in and replace the screw.

Right hand surface lamp burned out. It apparently fald up and broke the glass cover. I wne on line when I found out the only local deaaler was some miles away and more expensive.
Simple. The parts came instantly. The glass was too big so I had it cut to size. I unscrewed the fixture with a screw driver replaced the bulb and slipped the glass cover into the frame and screwed the whole assembly in.

cheap plastic handles keep breaking
3rd handle replaced,(glued first two together), and used an electric screw driver to put screws in tight this time. And you think that FORD has a better idea. Jeffery has a great idea... make it to break and get rid of repairmen. $65.00 for the part and shipping is way more than its worth...especially if they keep breaking.

Broken door handle
Slip a flat bladed screwdriver under the gasket near the bottom screw and lift it out far enough to reach the screw with a phillips screwdriver. Top screw is exposed and comes out easily. Tighten both screws, push the gasket back in and you are finished. 5 min tops.

The handle broke off of the microwave.
I loosened the screw that held the top of the handle onto the door of the microwave, and also removed the gasket on the inside of the door, exposing the bottom screw holding the lower end of the handle to the door. I removed the old handle parts and placed the new handle in the proper location, and then screwed the handle into place. I replaced the gasket, and I was done!
It was painless.
