Door handle broke off of microwave
There were only two screws holding the door handle in place. The first is obvious but the second requires that you snap off the plastic window cover on the door. I only took it partially off using a butter knife to lift it. It snaps out easily.
Take out both screws which removes all parts of the old handle. Then just put in the new handle and use old screws to secure it in place. Except for removing the plastic cover, this was absolutely trivial.
$60 seems expensive for a plastic door handle, but it is cheaper than a new unit.

First I removed the top screw which is visible when you open the door. Other screw is hidded under the plastic lining (don't know exact part name). I removed the lining with knitchen knife and unscrew the other screw also. And put the new handle in place.

The old handle had broken. DESIGN FLAW WITH GE MICROWAVES. I have replaced them on 3 different ovens!
Thankfully I read someone else's report. I remove the top screw with ease and then pried off the cover surronding the glass panel enough to get access to the lower screw and removed it. Then I just screwed the screws back into the new handle and snapped the plastic covering back in place and "Bob's your uncle"

Broken door handle
Slip a flat bladed screwdriver under the gasket near the bottom screw and lift it out far enough to reach the screw with a phillips screwdriver. Top screw is exposed and comes out easily. Tighten both screws, push the gasket back in and you are finished. 5 min tops.

cheap plastic handles keep breaking
3rd handle replaced,(glued first two together), and used an electric screw driver to put screws in tight this time. And you think that FORD has a better idea. Jeffery has a great idea... make it to break and get rid of repairmen. $65.00 for the part and shipping is way more than its worth...especially if they keep breaking.

The handle broke off of the microwave.
I loosened the screw that held the top of the handle onto the door of the microwave, and also removed the gasket on the inside of the door, exposing the bottom screw holding the lower end of the handle to the door. I removed the old handle parts and placed the new handle in the proper location, and then screwed the handle into place. I replaced the gasket, and I was done!
It was painless.

Right hand surface lamp burned out. It apparently fald up and broke the glass cover. I wne on line when I found out the only local deaaler was some miles away and more expensive.
Simple. The parts came instantly. The glass was too big so I had it cut to size. I unscrewed the fixture with a screw driver replaced the bulb and slipped the glass cover into the frame and screwed the whole assembly in.

arcing during use of microwave
Replaced turntable coupler by removing screws from bottom of microwave and reaching through to turntable motor. The screws were a little difficult to get to because of the proximity of the microwave to our oven.
