door handle broke
I used the kitchen knife to remove the inside cover on the door. There are tabs which hold it in place along the vertical sides. Then removed the two screws holding the handle in place and replaced it with the new handle. Replaced the inside door cover. Thanks for the tip on using the knife to remove the inside cover!! It was easy!

Light bulbs wouldn't come out of socket
I ended up breaking one bulb trying to remove a burnt bulb for replacement. We then tried removing the other bulb and it wouldn't come out either. I googled the problem and found PartSelect and an explaination of the problem. Heat from either the stove or the bulbs had fused the bulbs into the sockets. Comments on the problem explained that you just remove the bottome pannel (we had seven screws), unplug the old sockets, insert the new and new bulbs and reattach the panel. It was quick and no problems to correct. We did discover the microwave was on its own breaker, make sure to disconnect or cutoff power to the microwave before you start.

repair broken lens and replace light bulb.
This was a super easy repair job. I couldn't figure out how the lens that covered the light bulb would have cracked and realized it must have been from my contractor when he replaced my stove. I can't prove it, of course, so I am left doing the repairs. The website was very easy to order from and confirm that I had the correct parts as the model numbers tend to change over time.

Everything seemed to work with the controls, but when you pressed start the light would come on and nothing else. The turntable and heating system would not function.
I unplugged it, removed the outer shell with torque bits and a screwdriver, drained the main capacitor, and began debugging the circuit with my fluke multimeter, found the bad primary interlock, googled the part number, ordered the part, received it in 2 days, replaced the interlock in about 2 minutes, and put the cover back on. Fixed. Saved me about $200 over buying a new unit and was grateful for partselect's great service.

broken door handle
First i pick up all the tools that I thought would be needed for the door handle replacement. I looked at the exploded diagram online, but did not know how to remove the inside panel to expose the handle mounting screws? I did not want to break any more plastic parts by pulling to hard on the old weaken parts. I have 30 years experience repairing office and banking equipment but never took a microwave apart.. Next I read two reviews by two different women explaining how easy it was to take off the inside panel with a butter knife---yes a butter knife. The knife worked great and I never would have used a knife. Everything just unsnapped from there on. Thank You to those women.

had to press door opener slightly to work
Removed screws holding outer shell. Pushed in door handle to identify faulty switch. Ordered part. Pryed switch out with screw driver and unplugged. reinstalled new switch. Presto. BUT... I did NOT use both hands while working on the microwave. I did not release the energy from the capacitor or whatever holds the killer amperage even when unplugged. It would be advisable to do this first. I did not because it seemed complicated, so I was EXTREMELY CAREFUL about not touching anything else inside the unit. I used one hand only so if I did touch something I would not get juiced through the chest. It was a piece of cake repair, but I would not go deeper without doing the discharge routine.

Broken Handle
First removed the inner panel. Use kitchen knife. Panel is snapped on. I could not remove hinge end so just pulled panel back. Two screws are then easily removed . Then the handle end top and bottom of outer panel must be snapped off. I could then get enough clearence to remove the two other screws which go thru outer panel only. I replaced the handle and reassembled in reverse order.

I unscrewed the entire undersurface of the microwave (I didn't do this before!) and replaced the light socket. Easy job and I'm glad the part was still available.

Light Socket replacement
I was told by 2 different appliance technicians that the crumbled/melted light socket could not be replaced which meant replacing the entire microwave (expensive!). Other posters on your sight described the repair steps and I gave it a try. The hardest part was probably figuring out which switch in the fuse box belonged to it (now marked clearly). It was a simple matter of unscrewing the bottom panel of the microwave to access the socket, pulling the crumbled/melted unit off and shoving the new one on. I can't believe the repairmen didn't want any part of even giving it a try.

Bulbs broke off in socket, socket would not come out
I removed both sockets from the microwave and when your part arrived, I installed them both including the new lights. The work perfectly and it was very easy to put them in. I also appreciate the speed of delivery and your concern for my feed back on the product. I have you number in my contact list and should I need another part, I'll check with your first.
thanks you

No cooking Power
Had to remove outer cover (special screws involved). Found the correct part at PartSelect.Com and it arrived 3 days later as promissed.

This oven has diffcult electrical connections at switch to get disconnected. I found it easier with the sw loose and in hand so that the connectors can be released with a small screwdriver.

One has to this in order to test the part wirh an ohm meter. I found the sw did not close but remained open and thus caused the oven not to function.

Removing interconnect switch is tricky but not difficult.

Outer cover replacement is not as easy as it should be, especially the sides.

All is well and working.

Microwaves are simple devices if you are know how to read and understand schemetic diagrams.

Handle broke away from door@bottom.
Removed the 1 inch plastic frame on inside of door, gave me access to 1 set of screws. The problem I encountered was, getting to the set that holds the handle to the door.I didn't realize the metal frame held the outside with flexible hooks, therefore once u snapped them off, the outside with the handle on it HIT the floor glass and all!
Fortunately it didn't break. Supporting the outside is most important.
