Plastic cover had quarter size hole burned
Use a butter knife to pop small plastic pin out and turn to remove. Used the metal pinwheel from old one and placed it back up in the microwave. Never heard of this being possible, but it seems to happen per the website and many other comments.

No heat. No unusual noise. Appers to function other than no heat
Multimeter checked/confirmed switches, sensors, and fuse first. All good. High power diode was bad - Replaced. Still no heat but now loud "MMMMM" noise when running. This means either the capacitor is also bad and/or magnetron.

Very loud noise when cooking
I opened it up, found there is sparks on the diode when cooking, I replaced the diode first, still no heat, I found all the switches and thermal stats were normal, there is 120V AC input to the transformer, so I tried to make a good guess and bought a Magnetron from Partselect, after I installed the new Magnetron, there is heat and the microwave is working.

installed new kitchen cabinets
the problem was the mounting bracket that was installed when the house was built ,was not the bracket that came with the microwave. It was used to step the microwave out 3" in front of the other cabinets for the style that they were using then. so when I was installing the new cabinets I didn't want that style, so I ordered the original mounting bracket. It was a perfect fit and the install went great

Glass rotating tray cracked and broke when cooking
This is the tray the glass cooking tray rest on and rotates the glass during cooking. The metal tray was installed upside down. The rotating glass tray was not properly installed. The oven was at a very high temp. and the weight of the utensil on the glass was not supported correctly. Result, big " pop " and broken glass tray. Note this is the second glass repaced. The first one dropped while removing it from the oven. It stuck to the bottom of the cooking dish and then fell to the floor. Pop, big breakage. Maybe you can learn from my mistakes.

Brief fire burned the cover
Inserted a kitchen knife between the cover and the inside top of the microwave. Pry out the small plastic keeper pin located in the front of the stirrer cover and save for reinstallation. Twist the cover and gently remove. Remove the metal fan and insert it in the new cover. Reinstall the cover and twist to align the hole for the keeper pin. Reinstall the keeper pin and push the cover and pin up tight against the inside of the microwave.
