Light worked, timer and control pad worked, but no turntable, no heat, no noises of any sort, just didn't start up
It was a snap using the instructions given. The key is getting into the unit. I did have to use a multimeter to find the failed switch since there are two of that type.

Air/Grease Filters Were Worn Out
Rec'd the parts within a day or two after ordering and simply placed them where the old ones were removed and wala my stove is back filtering. Only problem, the oven won't ignite while the broiler and stove top burners are fine. Go figure.

Broken handle
Read directions online after calling GE to ask about repairman. GE said that it would cost $99 just to have the repairman come to the house and that the part would cost $62. This did not include time to repair once the repairman got there. I saw a video online on handle replacement. Once you gently remove the door liner, it's easy to install the new handle. It looks intimidating initially because you don't see the screws when you open the door. I ordered the part for $35.00 and installed it myself in about 10 minutes. I couldn't believe how easy it was and the fact that I saved well over $100 was icing on the cake. Thank you for your website, your directions, and your great prices!

All power to the microwave went out.
PartSelect had helpful repair instructions on-line which made the repair easier and faster. Unfortunately, there were other problems with the oven that immediately blew the new fuse I had just installed. It was then determined that additional repair would most likely cost almost as much as a new microwave.
