Handle was broken at the bottom attachment point
I had to figure out how to get one of the screws out because I could only see the head for one of them. I removed a strip of plastic that goes around the inside parameter of the door. With that removed I foud the other screw head. I removed the remaining screw and there you have it. Put it back together and your done. . The strip around the door just snapped on so that was easy. The big problem: I received the wrong door handle from PartSelect but they had the new handle at my door the very next day. I don't know haw they did that. From Kentucky to cocoa Florida in less than 24 hours. I may have ordered the wrong part but still my Microwave was broken for four days total. I know this sounds like an ad but I'm just happy with the service. Thanks PartSelect.

Door handle broke
The repair was relatively ease. I have to tell you that what helped me the most was reading the experiences others had had. The repair took me qabout 7 minutes. Simply take a puddy knife and carefully take out the ring around the glass on the indide of the door. Once removed you will see the botoom screw. The upper screw is very visible. Remove the two screws and replace....its that ease.

Broken door handle
There was one screw on top that was easily accessable, but the lower one is hidden. I first removed the door seal that goes around the outside of the door but, that didn't expose the screw. On the inside of the door there is a seal just for the glass window. I used a butter knife to open just a section of it and it immediately exposed the screw that I needed to remove.

Door handle broke off
I first pulled the bottom left and left side inner 3/8th inch rounded liner out. Use a thin flat head screw driver to gently pry the inner trim piece out of place. This exposed the bottom screw. I pulled out the old 1/2 inch silver coarse thread screw. The top screw is obvious. Removed that. I had to replace the face plate which slid off. Replaced the new face plate then put in the new handle top male end then the bottom male end in the holes. I screwed in the top 1.5 inch browm fine thread screw. Don't over tighten, just go until snug. If you over tighten you may crack the plastic walls of the screw hole built into the handle. I then put the small screw in and tightened it. Then snap the trim piece back in place. Viola.......You are done

plastic door handle cracked and broke off door
removed the interior door seal with thin scraper. Then removed screws. Replaced "new handle" and reverse process. Process is easy but the handle part is ridiculously expensive for what it is!

Cheap plastic handle on microwave broke again
Open the microwave door. Remove the exposed screw in the top left hand corner. Using a knife, pop off the plastic moulding that surrounds the glass out to expose the screw in the bottom left hand corner of the door. Remove that screw. (note they are two different types and lengths). Attache the handle and screw in the top screw, then the bottom screw. Re-attache the moulding around the glass. Close the door and reopen with new handle.

Broken door handle
I looked at what others ahd said about the repair and just followed their instructions. Just took off the top screw of the handle, used a butter knife to pry off the plastic cover around the inside door and took off the bottom screw of the handle. Put the new handle on and put the screws back and pushed the door frame back in. Very easy to do and took very little time.

Our handle broke off completely
The handle worked great, the only thing was that it didn't come with the screw for the handle and I thought it would. The part description was very vague. So we have the bottom part of the handle super-glued and found a scrap screw that we could use for the top. At least it was better than no handle.
Thanks much,

Microwave door handle was broken.
Used thin spatula to remove plastic frame around inside of door to expose bottom screw. Removed top and bottom screw and pulled off broken handle. After cleaning up the outside of the door, installed new handle and tightened screws. Popped plastic frame back into place: done!
