First remove all screws holding on outer metal casing of microwave. Next remove the back and bottom metal pieces. You will then be able to pull aside the outer casing so you can access the door switches. Check each switch with an ohm meter in both the open position and with the switch closed. If the ohm meter reads the same in both the open and closed position, the switch is bad. Check the top switch first. Replace switch and reassemble. Cheap fix for a costly microwave. I looked at the exploded pic on your web site to find the location of the sensor. Next I removed the cover by unscrewing 15 screws then swaped the sensor and re assembled! Works great! Fixing it my self I saved at least 150$ and did not have to wait all day for a repair man who probaly would not have the part on the first visit.

Followed the instructions on your website and a YouTube video. The diode was at a 90 degree angle which made it a little trickier. Unfortunately the repair did not resolve the problem. I ended up buying a new microwave for temporary use for less than ordering any more parts. We are pleased with your website, instructions, ease of installation though!

1. Removed the plastic rivet holding the stirrer fan cover in place.
2. Slipped a small pry bar under the cover to allow room to grip the cover and pull it out of its setting.
3. Removed the stirrer fan and placed in new cover.
4. Disposed of old rivet and cover.
5. Aligned new cover with rivet hole and pushed it up and into place.
6. The rivet comes in two (2) pieces: the actual rivet and a locking collar.
7. Pushed the rivet locking collar in place and pushed rivet into the collar.

I attached the mounting plate to the wall as directed in the installation instructions which I had downloaded from GE. This procedure took 45 minutes to complete. I was then able to mount the microwave.

It is easy to repair the burnt out bulb if one has the correct bulb. Your website is very user friendly and your service is great. I was not able to replace the bulb at this time because our RV is at the repair shop for some other matters. I am sure the installation of the new bulb will go smoothly. Thanks for asking. Unscrewed the vent at top of microwave exposing small access to bulb. The access to this was very limited so that was the major issue in changing the bulb. You needed small hands to do the job.

Everything worked on the display light inside worked but when you closed the door and set time it would start counting down but not heating nor would the turntable turn. Started reading troubleshooting chart and first thing I did was removed the cover and checked door switches and found primary door switch wasn't working so I ordered a new one installed it and it worked. Anyone doing this has to be very careful because of the stored energy in the capacitor is strong enough to kill.
My micro is only 2 years old so I was hoping it wasn't anything major.

Very easy to replace. This replacement part is the perfect fit for my microwave since the original part has been discontinued. It does have the night light and bright light feature.

The tray came within 5 days and I simply took it out of its well-packaged box and slipped it into my microwave. It is working just like new. I can't thank you all for being so punctual and reliable. better than having to buy a brand new microwave.

I REMOVED THE TOP PANEL OF THE MICR0WAVE AND THEN REMOVED ONE SCREW TO REMOVE THE CONTROL PANEL. rEMOVED OLD SWITCH. SNAPPED IN NEW SWITCH AND CONNECTED WIRE. REPLACED CONTROL PANEL AND UPPER PANEL.

I used a flat screwdriver blade to push out the rivet. Then used the screwdriver to loosen the fan cover and gave it a little twist. It came out with no problem. There was some grease build up on the aluminum fan, so I cleaned it. I placed the clean fan into the new fan cover and put it back in place in the microwave. There are several notches to match up, and then I gave it a slight twist to secure the notches. Then, the new rivet was put into the hole and pushed to make it secure. Finished!

Required removing the old unit and disconnecting the exhaust ductwork and drilling new holes for attachment to the cabinet

Gently remove plastic rivet holding cover in place.Rotate cover slightly and pull down. Remove stirrer fan from old cover and place on new cover. Place cover back in microwave and rotate till rivet hole lines up and replace rivet. Done.

Remove pin and shift old cover plate clockwise to release cover. Remove and insert fan into new cover and replace cover by inserting cover plate tabs and turning counter clockwise. Insert new pin to connect new cover plate.
