We followed the instructions on your website and it was very quick and easy. Thank you so much for having that information and showing exactly how to replace the Halogen Light Bulb.

I used a phillips screwdiver to open the light cover protecting the halogen bulbs (2) both had burned out and needed to be replaced. A bit akward to replace, but within 5 minutes both were removed. I called your part service department to order replacements,(friendly and courteous service I might add!)was told that they would arive in about 3-5 days. 1.5 days later they were on my doorstep...They were promptly plugged into my GE underhood mounted microwave, now I am back in service! You've won me over and I will tell all my friends about you. Thanks again!

Buying the bulb and doing the replacement my self was the best thing I had done. The same problem happened last year and I had the American Home shield insurance at that time so I called the company and they took three weeks between ordering and replacing the light, they showed me the final bill and it was $240.00....!!! This time I bought the light through partselect, got it within 48 hours and did he replacement myself within 15 min, I followed the instructions on the video and had to do an extra step ( due to the model I have) but I was able to replace the bulb and yooohooo it was working when I reconnect the power... I am a person who never tried to fix any electrical appliance before, but after this experience I will always try to do it myself... Believe me if I can do it and felt it was easy you can do it.... Opened the cover. Removed burned out bulbs. Ordered replacements which arrived fairly quickly. Forgot to turn off power to unit (didn't matter in the end!). Using the bubble wrap the new bulbs came in, I inserted the bulbs one by one into their respective sockets. Not really tricky but the surface light is in the back of the microwave so I had to lean over the stove to get all the way back. Once in the bulbs worked fine. Closed the cover. All back to normal.

My daughter hand installed bulbs without a problem, took a minute and used a phillips to reinstall the cover. I shopped on-line because I wasted two hours between Lowe's and Home Depot trying to get the right bulb. I did think your postage was crazy high, otherwise glad to get the right bulbs to solve the problem.

I could not for the life of me figure out how to get into the light housing so I could replace the bulb, nor did I have any idea which bulb to buy. The manual for this model descibes how to replace the underside lighting but they seem to have left out instructions about the interior. I watched the short "how-to" video on this site, bought the bulb that was described and replaced the bulb in five minutes without any issues.

Removed outer cover and then replaced the T. C. O. located on the left upper side if the unit. Replaced outer cover, tested oven. Oven operates normally.

FIRST need large flat table 4 or 5 containers for screws take apart in largest sections possible there are many different screw types HAVE PATIENCE ! identify wire locations BEFORE taking apart

No repair involved, just replaced......looked online and ordered, thought it would take 4-5 days, came in perfect condition within TWO 2 days. awesomeness

Used screwdriver, removed cover, took out old bulbs and replaced with new ones. Couldn't get any easier.

Used new rubber gloves so as to not get finger prints on the bulbs. Hope that was ok. Trying to use a paper towel was a nuisance. Also had to use a mirror to see the slots for the bulbs. This was actually a pain to do especially since I am short and was on my toes to do this. Only the bright light works and before there was a night light and a bright light. So there you have it.
